Jim went to the VA hospital this afternoon for his scheduled checkup.
They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.

FR has given us hope and successes for many years. As bad a shape this country is in now it would have been worse if not for Jim Robinson and Free Republic.
Misguided, ignorant leftists sometimes so very wrongly accuse FreeRepublic of being a site of hate and anger. As I reflect on Jim Robinson and pray for his recovery, I struck by the LOVE shown in various pictures.
Jim has a warm, sincere smile that exudes true inner happiness. The leftists are so far off the mark! This is the face of love, compassion, dedication to liberty and to America:

Jim, Blessings to you for your courage and fortitude, I had my right index finger amputated at age 11 without anesthetic...but in retrospect that is one thing that taught me....Courage. I am, however, a hell of a shot! Cheers, Jim Rob! Thanks for FR too.
