She spoke on Friday, IIRC. IMO, she has been pushed aside for two years, as Obama has tread where the SoS should go, except now. Now, we have PJ Crowley tweeting pleas for calm...
It’s a charlie foxtrot, all right. The only question, at least to my mind, is whether the CF’s intentional or not.
Meanwhile, more on the bug out....
Delta cancels Egypt travel while India, US and Turkey organize evacuation flights
Sometimes with CF’s it’s a simple matter of ideology crashing headlong into reality.
Meanwhile...here’s a fascinating take on some elements of interest- the MB and Al Jazeera connections and just what is going on in the Palestinian conflict(s).

AMEN!
Thanks for the ping!
Having fun, Barry...?
It’s going to be tough getting Americans out of Egypt. Al Jazeera has further riled up the Arab Street, so they’re scrambled in Egypt. The tweets are most interesting.
That’s an interesting little story. The issue of the two mosques seems placed a little disingenuously front and central.
Exactly, and the Saudi king expects his demands to be met.
FWIW, my reaction to that story is the same one I have to the Wikileaks stories: I wonder what they're sitting on?
Exactly!
I really guard against conspiracy thinking and making assumptions- but it does seem a picture is beginning to emerge.
I wonder how much influence Iran really is trying to exert. I hesitate to blame them completely because of the Shia vs Sunni aspect. Maybe that’s a secondary matter to them at this stage.
Ah, forget it. I just hope they get out safely. And God bless the folks getting them out.
From your link:
*For years al-Jazeera has sought to advance the interests of the Muslim Brotherhood against the Arab regimes*
!!!
Good. You’re welcome.
I hear you! We are on the scrambled wave length.
And I just had a really scary thought. Maybe not the Egyptian army...
Yep- that’s the take-away sentence.
Now then- here’s some more fuel for the overall Dot Connection Project:

Muslim Brotherhood, Contd
January 29, 2011 9:23 P.M. By Nina Shea
Andys right that Hamas has its roots in the Muslim Brotherhood. So does Sudans President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, Egypts neighbor to the south, who came to power in a coup and ruled as the head of the National Islamic Front until the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement when an interim constitution was adopted. In December, Bashir announced to supporters, If south Sudan secedes, we will change the constitution and at that time there will be no time to speak of diversity of culture and ethnicity
Sharia and Islam will be the main source for the constitution, Islam the official religion and Arabic the official language. This, of course, follows Muslim Brotherhood principles. This month, the south did apparently vote for secession (official results due in a week or so). This means Egypt could eventually be part of a vast new Ikwan Islamic state from Gaza to the northern border of the new Republic of South Sudan.
...And guess what?

South Sudan results show 98.83% chose to secede
