I want to tip my hat to my friends Rush Limbaugh and Matt Drudge for helping immensely in raising the visibility of a story WND has been championing for more than two years.
That story, of course, is one the entire country – in fact, the entire world – now knows about.
It is the question of Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility for the presidency.
Last week, both of these men, in their own way, made it respectable to talk about and write about the absolute, established fact that Obama is hiding something in his steadfast refusal to release his long-form birth certificate to the public.
Rush has long joked about the missing birth certificate, for which I have been grateful. But last Friday he opened his show with an extensive monologue on the controversy, crediting WND with breaking the story. (In fact, WND has written hundreds of stories about the issue since 2008. More meaningful coverage, I believe, than all the rest of the media combined.)
"The story originated at WorldNetDaily … and, of course, if it originates anywhere outside the mainstream press, the mainstream press will not acknowledge it," explained Limbaugh.

WND is a respectable site and conservatives should not knock one of the few places that allows conservative perspectives.

I don’t know if birthers have become respectable but I do think birthers have reached a tipping point in public perception.

Since it is now coming from the dim gov of HI, I guess it is not only coming from WND.
I listen to Rush and he flatly stated that he thinks the whole controversy is a “rope a dope” to get conservatives to take their eyes off of the ball: repealing the outrages of the Obama Administration and instituting fiscal reform.
Besides, I think the Marxist bastard is from another planet, anyway.

The country is finally beginning to wake up from the wave of mass hysteria and Messianic Obamunism that swept the nation in ‘08.
The “rope-a-dope” conspiracy theory is not credible and too-smart-by-half. It also violates Occam’s Razor.
Rush better get out in front of this issue or he risks following Peggy Noonan, Ann Coulter, the Stockholm Syndrome conservatives and other after-birther/deniers into irrelevance.

However, Mr. Matthews frequently has Rep. Michele Bachmann on his show, and I frequently check out HARDBALL to see if Mr. Bo-Tingles has her scheduled that evening.
Bachmann is simply imperial on his show, she is regal, she is poised, she is gracious ---- she drives Mr. Matthews NUTS ---- he loathes her, he lampoons her, he interrupts her, he spittles & growls & snarls, and then laughs contemptuously at her..... but Rep. Bachmann is imperturbable, she is impervious to the machinations of Chrissey and she is focused, cogent, articulate.
It's the BEST TV available on the entire market, I kid you NOT, I do not exaggerate, and last night, although she wasn't on HARDBALL but instead was featured on Bill O'Reilly....
Last night was funny when Pat Buchanan teased Chris Matthews that Chrissy must literally adore Bachmann, or something like that because Matthews has Bachmann on his show EVERY OTHER NIGHT --- LOLOLOLOL

If this were all just a really bad movie, the writers would use the State of the Union address tonight, as a the perfect time to have federal agents approach Hussein as he was at the podium, arrest him and start the usurpation trial.
McCain tried the gentlemanly approach by immediately putting out his Birth Certificate and then patiently waiting for the media to do it’s job with his opponent.
That didn’t work so well.
Put it out and then publicly call for Obama to release his records. Run paid advertisements if necessary.
yeah, but most of them love Chris Matthews and now he has asked “why doesn’t Obama just release the long form”.

It doesn’t matter a bit if Congress or SCOTUS fail to due their duty and uphold the Supreme Law of the Land.
