Just got done talking to the local Tea Party organizer here in the community and he says that the various and sundry Tea Parties are planning a state-wide conference to discuss “primarying” the Dickster.

From your keyboard to God's ears! The numero uno thing we need to do is unite behind ONE candidate and ONE only. If 6 or 8 guys throw their hats in the ring and then divide the vote.....Lugar will sail right into re-election.

We need to pick one viable strong conservative and go with it.

Mitch Daniels worked for Lugar when he was Mayor of the Circle City. My Dad worked for Lugar. Gotta watch Lugar. He has photographic memory and never forgets. Can site word for word speeches he wrote 25 years ago. Amazing guy. Not that I agree with his political views but I know he is a Patriot.

If Lugar loses in primary, he is DONE. Indiana has a sore loser law which prevents him from running after the primary.

And we all know what kind of people vote in primaries!
I wonder if he has any idea what is coming his way!

He maybe used to be a Patriot, but lately he's been voting more like a red marxist. START treay and LOST treaty are 2 very decidedly anti-patriot votes he's cast in recent years that come to mind. And anyone one votes to cut missile defense or gut our national sovereignty is NO PATRIOT in my book. I don't care how you spin it, those votes are not patriotism, they are borderline treason.

I have not followed tricky Dick since the early 70’s. I trust you more than him but I was amazed at his photographic memory. Then he seemed to me to be a patriot but now looking at his voting record I see what you mean...

A vigorous campaign eh? He’s phoned in the last two. Guess the Tea Party gunning for him, oops, can stay that, has got him spooked.

I got a petition form from him. He wants me to go out and sign people up for him. I intend to mark it, with a big red Sharpie. - RETIRE! - and send it back.

He’s addicted to the good life...time for rehab, Dick.

Addiction, their is something going on here. Look how many Reps and Senators that are old that can't or won't leave; Levin, Dingell, McCain, Spectre, he had to be booted. Now look how many died in Office, Kennedy, Byrd etc.

Their is something wrong with this picture.

Everyone talks about addictions to Drugs, Alcohol etc. We have people here IMHO that may have a new one, an addiction to Power.

IMHO Lugar has now entered this category. It is time for a Hoosier of Stature to run against him and retire him in the primaries via beating him for the nomination, when he doesn't have the common sense to do it on his own.

A poorly titled local piece from last week.....

http://kokomotribune.com/local/x1184739450/Tea-Party-has-target-on-Lugar

The Tea Party people were less than thrilled about the Dan Coats nomination,” he said. “They realize it would be a better position to narrow the field and have a one-on-one race against Lugar.”

Fettig said if the Tea Party groups can’t agree on a single candidate in 2012, then it will not be possible to defeat Lugar in 2012.

She will? I hope someone defeats her.

Perhaps a REAL Indiana conservative can replace Ms. Lugar.
