Top 10 Tragedies Exploited by the Left
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | Megan Fox

Democrats are good at a lot of things (that damage our country) but in particular they are very talented in the business of exploitation for political gain. The entire Democrat strategy can be summed up in one unguarded sentence uttered by Rahm Emanuel.

You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.

Democrats are ghoulish. It’s hard for regular folks to understand the depths of their depravity because normal people are sad when tragedies happen. Those on the Left get gleeful. They even go so far as to wish tragedies on America in order to further their political gains.

The bottom line here is that Americans don’t believe in President Obama’s leadership,” says Rob Shapiro, another former Clinton official and a supporter of Mr Obama. “He has to find some way between now and November of demonstrating that he is a leader who can command confidence and, short of a 9/11 event or an Oklahoma City bombing, I can’t think of how he could do that.

Sickening. So it shouldn’t surprise anyone when the shooting in Arizona of Democrat Gabrielle Giffords and several other people sparked a vicious “blame everyone on the Right” campaign that started with outlandish claims involving Sarah Palin and ended with a pseudo-memorial service chocked full of political rhetoric (complete with matching tee-shirts, unruly crowds and a Medicine Man.) The calls for “civility” are particularly galling considering how uncivil the Left always is (for proof see any leftist commentary on Sarah Palin.) What they really mean by asking us to “”tone it down” is for us to stop fighting for our beliefs and the conservative way of life. It’s a silencing technique and only helps Democrats pass bad legislation. This has all been done before. It’s nothing new.

matter of fact the fourth estate even “prompts” their on call pool of volunteers as to what the next tragedy (not to be wasted) should be...”we need another wacx, we need another XXXXX...we need another..., etc., etc.”

Strangely enough...they always seem to get it...

Yeah, and the dems and the rinos want to intermingle at the SOTU address and that’s just another democrat ploy. I know this thread ain’t about that but it’s so pissing me off I can’t hardly see straight.

I’ve got another idea: Any pubbie that wants to sit over on the dem side can just stay there permanently, and become a full fledged leftist democrat. Good riddance.

#3 Senator Ted Kennedy's death:

Within hours of Mr Kennedy’s death on Wednesday leading Democrats were trying to turn it into a rallying point for healthcare reform — something that he had called the “cause of my life” — and suggested that any legislation should carry his name.
“[It was] the passion of his life,” David Obey, the Democratic chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, said. “Above all else, he would want us to redouble our efforts to achieve it.”
Robert Byrd, the senior Senate Democrat, called for the passage of healthcare legislation that would bear Mr Kennedy’s name, and Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, said: “Ted Kennedy’s dream of quality healthcare for all Americans will be made real this year because of his leadership and his inspiration.”

If anything could make me wish for the continued good health of Barney Frank, this is it.

The left’s goal is to (a) criminalize free speech when it opposes a Democrat politician or policy or, if that fails, to (b) characterize any opposition to Obama and the Democrat socialist agenda as ‘inflammatory’ and divisive’ making that opposition perceived as ‘wrong’, no matter the merits of the opposition. Neither will work for the left. Americans won’t be silenced and they don’t believe that simply opposing Obama and the Democrats, just as Democrats opposed everything President G.W. Bush said or did for eight years, is fundamentally wrong in any way. This isn’t Europe and we don’t genuflect to self-appointed ‘elites’ telling us what we can say (or do). On that premise, the Tea Party remains viable and a force in American politics, thank God.

Yes, Democrats never miss an opportunity to rally the feeble minded wing of their party prior to an election.

As this feeble minded wing of the Democrat Party is the largest part of their base constituency, its numbers when rallied can usually swing an election in their direction. But the next elections are almost two years away, so what do the Democrats expect to gain by rallying their feeble minded base at this time?
