Post or FReepmail me if you wish to be enlisted in or discharged from the Navair Pinglist.
The only requirement for inclusion in the Navair Pinglist is an interest in Naval Aviation.
This is a medium to low volume pinglist.

What is most remarkable, IMHO, about the now 5 surviving Raiders si that two of them, Hite, and Griffin, were POWs..Hite was held by the Japanese for 40 months, in what were absolutly brutal conditions. Griffin was a prisoner of the Germans for 2 years. A vast majority of POWs, especially those of the Japanese, suffered in their later years as a result of the conditions and brutalization. That these two still are alive, after so many years.. is a tribute to their will, strength, and God’s grace.

How sad.....
All the glasses are upside down. And so is America along with them. It’s especially sad that these great heroes had to watch the country they fought and died so courageously for, degraded itself into what it is today. It’s beyond shameful!
And not one mention from this so called “president”.

Years ago when I was stationed in Japan I was invited over to a Japanese friend's house for dinner. The mother-in-law lived with them and through her granddaughter she recounted growing up during WWII. She had lived in Yokohama her whole live and she recounted how shocked the Japanese people were that the Americans could attack Japanese cities. It really shattered their confidence during a string of victories.
A really great out of the box type operation. Like crossing the Delaware on Christmas Eve or placing guns on Dorchester Heights to force the British out of Boston.
