Why wasn’t it done on behalf of the Ft. Hood military victims?

That's a damn good question.

Well I’m sorry she got shot too. BUT where is the moment of silence and step sitting for our soldiers? They all need to get back to work and stop turning this into an excuse to advance their agenda.

With all due respect to our troops, we have a few of them being killed every day. You can’t stop Congress each and every time one falls on the battlefield.

Each one that falls is honored and treated with respect. Their families are contacted and treated with respect.

I don’t see this as political posturing. What would you have Congress do, a moment of silence and move on? I don’t think that would suffice.

Why do you see this in only political terms? Do you honestly think it’s 100% political?

I think people are referring to the Ft. Hood shooting, when instead of a moment od silence by the CIC, we got a shout out.

Barry called it an “isolated incidednt”. Also the guy was a Muslim. This pleased Barry and inside he wanted to reward him.

Agreed. If we politicize this tragedy, we are no better than the left.

There’s no denying that the Fort Hood shooting was treated disgustingly by the Democrat controlled White House, Congress, and media. I don’t want our side to repeat that type of disgusting performance though.

I’ll put it this way; who would benefit from a conservative federal judge and a blue dog dem being taken out? Not the right, and not some kid that was a product of Klonsky and Ayers (SDS), two small schools workshop.

It seemed the sheriff and locals had the political lede down from the start; He spoke more on that than victims, no one asked if the dead ranchers, cartels or his lack of protection or response time had a part.

If he thought his single shooter theory would fly, he’s mistaken.

When will we see his parents?

I don’t think it is so much condemning him doing it, it is condemning him for *NOT* doing it for Fort Hood or any other tragedy or any of the hundreds (thousands?) of soldiers killed since he became President..........

Judging from the recent FB conversations I've been having with my brother-in-law I'd say you are correct - libs do not posses brain cells which allow them to see their own hypocrisy.

In Post 18, I was actually addressing the poster’s discomfort with Congress on the steps of the Capital building.

To your point regarding Obama, I passed the point long ago where I could agree with him, even if he was doing the right thing. I have nothing but contempt for a man that would try to diminish our nation to the extent this individual has.

It was good for him to call for a moment of silence. It is disgraceful that he didn’t in connection to the Fort Hood incident.

Where was his instant call for people not to jump to conclusions this go-round? What a POS.

Good Rush Live thread today also-—may be worth a speed-read.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2654324/posts

“The left engages in the behaviour they accuse the right of.”

I just posted something similar to a poster that said even Gifford’s astronaut husband “blames inflammatory rhetoric for the assassination attempt on his wife.”

More & more I am at a loss for words.

When the leftists willfully lobotomize themselves to facts and logic; when they compulsively and FALSELY accuse their opponents of using acts/words they themselves employ with such proud and arrogant degeneracy; when they lie with such compulsive abandon...

How do we hold them to account? And why are conservatives always on the defensive?

Why are the leftists’ malicious and logically unhinged means not an obvious clue to their megalomaniacal ends?

Is America waking up yet? Does America see these fascist globalists for who they are? or was the election just a response to our economic peril?

The answer matters because most of our Repub Congressmen remain insularly comatose to the threat to our Republic.
