Screw him! I’ve never seen a head LEO be so unprofessional about a case like this. He’s being more of a PR person than someone investigating a crime.

Hes being more of a PR person than someone investigating a crime. He is a Sheriff and therefore a politician. Many, but not all, of them are not qualified to be in law enforcement.

Exactly. Consider this quote from him concerning the Immigration Bill passed in Arizona that he refused to enforce:

In my opinion, if he is not sure what "reasonable suspicion" means, he's been doing way more politik'n than he has been enforcing the law over those years.
