Arizona Sheriff’s News Conference No Place For Personal Political Opinion
Gulf1 - Straight Talk ^ | 1/9/2010 | Dr. Alan Bates

Posted on 01/09/2011 10:37:43 AM PST by ppaul

In the midst of a local tragedy committed by a young man with some type of mental derangement, the Democrat Sheriff of Pima County in Tuscon hosted a news conference which violated the code of conduct of such informational sessions by repeatedly injecting his personal political views and opinions rather than sticking to the facts of the case. His comments are an insult to upstanding law-abiding citizens who support Arizona’s immigration law and Americans who find the secular progressive destruction of our Constitution outrageous.

Every reasonable person knows the Arizona law was the consequence of willful failure of the Federal government to enforce federal immigration laws and secure our borders. For Sheriff Dupnik---a Democrat who publicly opposed that law in a letter to the Wall Street Journal---to suggest this horrible criminal act may have resulted from an increase in “vitriolic language and hate speech heard on radio and some other media outlets” is synonymous with labeling anyone who opposes and speaks out against corrupt government as similar to the individual responsible for the crime which occurred in Tuscon.

The lame street media will certainly make a big deal about the murderer’s motives in an attempt to label “We the People” as of the same ilk because we speak out and protest against those elected officials who actively seek to destroy the foundations of the United States of America by distorting and trampling our Constitution. No such connection can be made, but the secular progressives will hammer that home nonstop for weeks to come until some other tragedy occurs to divert their attention.

There is also no doubt there will be a huge liberal media uproar about second amendment rights which in their minds (plagued by liberal mental disorder) should be revoked because of such incidents. They will ignore the fact that not one crime has been committed with a firearm by a U.S. citizen who has a legal permit to carry. The murderer in the Arizona incident like others in the past apparently did not have legal permit to carry and on top of that showed obvious derangement to commit such a heinous act of mass murder. His actions have nothing to do with second amendment rights nor can his actions be blamed on published or verbal media content which condemns the willful destruction of America by liberal extremist America haters.

The Sheriff of Pima County has violated our expectation that he keep his personal secular progressive political views out of public presentations which should stay on point regarding details of the crime committed. May God’s hand be with those who lost their loved ones in this terrible tragedy and the recovery of the injured.

A lot like Columbine HS.

They raised the kid, they knew he had mental problems, they have to be given the primary external responsibility.

He was a 22 year old grown man. You blaming his parents is no better than the libs blaming Palin. He fired the gun. Period, end of story.

Where did this Dupa get his (I think) 9MM? I keep searching FR because this is where the real info is but I haven’t seen references to his pistol.

I was figuring since the Military turned him down, he must be on somebody’s radar about firearms but heck, at 22, he hasn’t been around long enough to experience real life much. You know, pay taxes, bills, big ticket items, mortgages, etc., etc., but he knows that everyone else is stupid other than himself.

Anybody? Thx!

It’s unfortunate that Sheriff Joe isn’t running the show, instead of Sheriff Combover.

Nope. He was a 22 year old mental case living at home. His parents had formal knowledge of his problems. They supported him, they raised him and they failed him. As did the moronic Pima County Sheriff who knew he was a danger to himself and others and did nothing.

Not really “unbelievable” though, is it?

“Government employees raising an only child to be gay. Very sad.”

Where did you come up with that one?

NPR of all places I think. Mom works for Pima County. See http://upintelligence.wordpress.com/2011/01/08/jared-loughner-secrets/ for more about the declared sex life of the only, lonely nutcase killer.

I am also tired of crazy people getting a pass from the courts when they are convicted of wrongdoing.
All the time I read about crazy people who deliberately stop taking their meds because they do not like the side effects, or feel better. They then go really crazy, and commit a crime.
I think that if you are diagnosed as a schizophrenic, and decide to stop taking your medication, and commit a horrific crime- then that is premeditated. You are then subject to the death penalty.
No different than an alcoholic who decides to drink, and kills someone while driving drunk.

Oh, I didn’t know we knew that he was Blue Boy. When did we get proof of that?

No - but there is a strong correlation of data that suggest that he is. More - his FB profile and other data shows he self-described as gay. No question - zip - nada - that he and his parents were told he needed to get a mental health eval before returning to college. That he could legally buy a gun after the problems he had is disturbing.

I thought Blue Boy was much older than 22. And those FB pages have been debunked.

Dupnik handled himself well right up until he admitted his personal policies in selective enforcement of the laws of his county and state do best when his and only his interpretation is applied.

There have been a number of fake FB pages, but the one that was his (and is now gone) he clearly self-id’d as “gay”.

Again, no question he was a nutcase. None. His parents knew that. They bear a great deal of responsibility for this.

Arizona Sheriff’s News Conference No Place For Personal Political Opinion

This person has serious mental issues, I think. After one instance of putting his foot n his mouth HE DID IT AGAIN at the FBI news conference in Tucson; A news bimbette baited him, and off he went again opening his mouth without putting brain in gear...

What's that definition of insanity again?

Totally unprofessional; but we already knew that.
