Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) remained in critical condition Sunday, a day after she was seriously wounded in a shooting rampage that killed at least six people and injured at least a dozen others in Tucson. Police and investigators were trying to piece together the alleged shooter's motive as they searched for a possible accomplice.

What did Sheriff Dupnik know about Jared Lee Laughner?
And when did he know it?
Laugner has been stalking the fed judge on someone’s orders and had an opportunity to take him out.

Clarence the Clown is looking for the 15 minutes of fame that he didn’t get when he stood up against Gov. Brewer and Arizona for the illegal alien invaders. He’s trying to come across as some kind of anti-Arpaio. He’s a worthless, old jerk.
I don't see any rhetorical treatment of Dupnik as being off-limits.
This Loughner guy sure reminds me of Stephen Colbert.
Wait a minute, I thought NPR was the first to confirm Sarah and Glenn were the shooters, even though neither one was within a thousand miles of the event.
Sheriff Dupnik is acting very suspicious.
What did he know about Loughner?
And when did he know it?
The murder’s name is “Jared Lee Loughner”. Laughner was the name used by the lefty who made the Tea Party linked Facebook page after the shooting.
NPR should be asking Sheriff Dupnik about when he first found out that Loughner was a violent threat to the community and why he didn’t take any steps to protect its citizens?
On Fox & Friends this morning, it was reported the perp’s mother works for or with the Pima County Board of Supervisors. That the perp had had charges brought against him before, and that those charges were reduced. I posted on another thread earlier, that it’s possible the sheriff could have been involved in the sentencing, or may be aware of how that came about.
I think this is an avenue that should be pursued in light of his off-the-wall remarks in his news conference yesterday. I’m also curious if he pursues the same train of thought today.
To be fair a Sheriff is probably aware of dozens of potentially dangerous people at any one time and has limited powers to deal with people before they’ve done anything illegal.
There should be an investigation into Sheriff Dupnik. Was Loughner receiving special treatment by Dupnik because his mother worked for the Board of Supervisors?
And is Loughner’s mom Sheriff Dupnik’s boss in some fashion? Does she have any influence into his compensation and departmental budget?
The case will be taken over by the Keystone Cops aka..FBI (Personal experience, I worked with them) who are much better at spinning/leaking the press.
Sheriff Dupnik just showed America that why he less competent than Chief Wiggum on the national stage...Bring back Chief Moose!

Loughner lived with his family in a small, 1,400 sq. ft. house in a part of Tucson quite different from the well-to-do La Toscana. The buildings need renovating, the landscaping is overgrown. Like many of the homes in this blue-collar, multi-racial neighborhood, the Loughners' property has a sign that discourages solicitors. The family, they say, had a passion for classic cars and were often seen driving up the street in 1970s-era muscle cars that they had worked on and restored. "We go selling Girl Scout cookies door-to-door," says Cook, who works at her husband's Tucson scrapyard. "But we didn't go there," she says of the Loughners' house, because it appeared foreboding with its unkempt plants.
I heard that disgusting man use the horrific tragedy to push his ideological agenda.
I recall the country's hoity-toity liberal elite use the JFK assassination for political advantage to suppress talk radio; and of course B.J., et al tried to use the OKC bombing -- in fact they did use it but not to the extent that they'd hoped, they failed to suppress conservative talk radio again! with their lies.
Liberals even speak of horrific misfortunes as opportunities for their agenda.

This is an excellent representation that the shooter WAS on radar (law enforcement) and WAS MENTALLY DISTURBED. This is Pima County Community College’s statement on Loughner and his suspension from school.
