That’s the thing. Both liberals and conservatives tend to have a healthy distrust of “the other side.”
Now if only we could ALL just learn to apply that distrust to government as a whole, regardless of whether an individual has a (D) or an (R) next to his or her name — we might actually find some common ground between us and start fixing our problems instead of making them worse while politicians in Washington play “divide and conquer” to their own benefits.
And the detail that the potential benefit of the near zero chance of averting a terrorist attack is small relative to the certain and unconstitutional invasion of privacy guaranteed by this procedure does not matter at all to this statist stooge? Anything Obama wants to do is automatically fine with her because it's Obama; she just wishes it was him in person fondling her, as if he'd be interested in a woman.

They will allow a bomb on board or even to bring down a plane.

I fly frequently and after 9/11 when everyone had to start taking off their shoes and putting their liquids and gels in baggies, I would hear people in line griping away and I thought, good grief, this is a cheap price to pay if it keeps us from harm.
Now, I’m hopping mad over how far this has been taken, but it has nothing to do with a Republican or Democrat in charge. Searching my luggage, running me through a metal detector and making me spread my legs and arms while you run a wand in the air around me are not personal affronts to my modesty or dignity. Taking photos that reveal my body without clothing and putting your hands on my breasts, crotch and pulling out my pants waistband and looking in my pants(this is the enhanced patdown I got the last time I flew) crosses the line to unacceptable.
I don’t think you can characterize the reaction that the majority of conservatives/Republicans are having to this as political hypocrisy. This isn’t happening because Obama is a Democrat. This is happening because Obama is an incompetent weak leader who is controlled by greedy bastards that have him manipulating our government for their own interests. The reason we are all going through this is so that they can make money off those damned machines.

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to you as well good morning. After doing a google search, here is an article of what Israel does in regards to airline security.
Yup it’s a “marginal” nuisance to get irradiated and have some guy who may be a perv look at an image of your body.
I’m sure there will be not one single instance of technician fapping to the image of someone he finds appealing. Because the feds hire no one but the best.
Anyone know why metal detectors and shoe removal and being forced to drink breast milk isn’t good enough anymore? Seems pretty tight to me.
Maybe something to do with those mythical “plastic guns that metal detectors can’t see” that an ominous voice announcer once threatened that Bob Dole would bring to airports near you if he was elected President?
