Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says the privacy of airplane passengers was considered before new Transportation Security Administration procedures began this week.
We built privacy concerns into the procedures when they were deployed, Napolitano told reporters Monday morning.

Give them time!
Colonoscopy machines aren’t quite portable enough yet...
I say that Nappy-head napolitano is a liar.
Has the .gov explained why they’re increasing *passenger* screening when the latest threat that triggered this mess was on a CARGO plane?
You can pat me down, I’m NOT going through one of those scanners...
That's what you get for pretending the danger's not real. Meek and obedient you follow the leader Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel. What a surprise! A look of terminal shock in your eyes. Now things are really what they seem. No, this is not a bad dream.
We’re flying Dec. 4th. Post how it goes. I’m afraid that if I film it I’ll get strip searched.
I believe that she CONSIDERED our privacy concerns BEFORE initiating the procedures.
I also think she REJECTED those concerns out of hand and did not account for them in any way DURING the initiation of the procedures.
Electro-strip-search Janet Napolitano and publish the pictures NOW!
We’ll be back on the 5th. I think we have internet service at the hotel. If I can, I’ll post.
Is there a rule now that Democrat presidents have to have a man named Janet in a high-ranking position? I’m seeing a trend....
I am just waiting for the class action of cancer patients who say their cancers were cause by these machines.
lawyers should be lining up now.
Yep! Look at the UK. Cameras everywhere. Vans patrolling the streets looking for people who put recyclables in the waste bin. And you know (even though it hasn’t been announced yet) that there are vans that can scan your home, see through walls, listen in on you private conversations in your home.
I am infuriated about all of this.Because of the insulin pump and stuff I have on me I can’ go through an xray and there is no way I’m taking the chance that taking it off to go throught he machine and having it disappear on me, my life depends on that. Now I have to be gropped? Not only will that be embarassing but because of the spots where the transmitter and inset are it will also be painful and they could dislodge them for me making it dangerous to my life.My bloodsugar can go from normal to over 200 within a 1/2 hour and I may not be somewhere to be able to reinsert another in that time. They have just pretty much made it impossible for someone like me to travel.
Amazing!
I hate to say this but personally I don’t care if they want to grope me. I’m a big girl and I’ll get over it. It’s my 11 and 13 year olds that I’m concerned about. I understand that I can opt my 11 year old out but not the older girl. I will be filming that.
They probably did consider them. Then, they giggled and said, “Privacy? Privacy? They don’t need no stinkin privacy. They’re just the idiots who pay our salaries. Just F*** ‘em.” Ms. Napolitano then questioned them, calmly, asking “Do we have time right now?”
I think these fascist types WANT to make it impossible to travel so they can control people
Napolitano would have fit right in as Hitler’s right hand man...er...woman...er...man.
