They can hire lawyers, but the courts won't do anything about 'Rat cheating. This same thing happened to Rossi in the '04 Governor election in WA State, and Coleman in the MN Senate contest against Frankenputz. The courts aren't there for justice when it comes to a 'Pub plaintiff against 'Rat cheating.

The only thing that will stop this is taking it public, mainly to the streets. What stopped Gore's attempted theft of FL in 2000 was people going down to the Board of Elections and literally pounding on doors to be allowed to oversee a fair recount process. If Etheridge and the 'Rats steal this one, the 'Pubs have to go street on him. I'm series...

Actually, on second thought, since the House makes it's own rules as to who is seated, this may be a chance for payback of the 'Rats stealing the one House seat in Indiana in the 1984 election. Do exactly what the 'Rats did back then. They conducted their own "recount", and kept changing the rules on which votes to count and disallow until the numbers worked out in their favor. They had to change the rules of the "recount" six or seven times, adding and changing requirements, making things like marks outside of the box next to the candidate's name causing the ballot to be disqualified, or marking an "x" in the box when the instructions said "check the box", that kind of thing. In the end, the 'Rat ended up "winning" by, are you ready for this, a grand total of eight votes. I say to the same thing to Etheridge if he steals it.

The good news is that since the Reps took both houses of the NC legislature, they get to redraw the districts and get rid of the gerrymandered ones the Dems cooked up.
