According to RCP, there is a recent Sunshine State News Poll that also states Rubio is up +20. So much for the polls that show only a +7 lead. Go Rubio!

Charlie Crist: the worst of the worst. THE definition of a narcissistic politcian willing to do and/or say anything, vote for anything, pander to anyone, anywhere....it’s ALL about Charlie.

“Meek picks up 16% support, his worst showing since early July.”

Maybe because he is both stupid and a bad politician.

My evidence is from his website:

1. He supports cap and trade,

2. He openly supports cap and trade by the name “cap and trade,” not hiding it under a “green” disguise like the others do,

3. He thinks cap and trade has something to do with the importation of petroleum to America.

If there’s any justice in the world.....Charlie and any Republican who supported his candidacy after he bolted the party should be blackballed from Florida politics forever. The word should be put out in Tallahassee. No one that worked for Crist should ever work in that town again. They’ve burned bridges on both sides of the aisle now.

This poll was taken on Oct 27th before last nights flap, so i bet Rubio is even more ahead now.

Rubio could rob a bank and get caught with a hooker and he would still win.

I wont be shocked if Crist the Crisp is a CNN employee in a year. Not wild left enough for MSNBC, the “independent centrist” fits CNN’s model celebrity.

A tale of greedy person. If he just wait until Ben Nelson’s term expires in 2012, he might be elected senator from FL. I really doubt FL will go 0bama again next time, so his anti-coattail might help whoever Republican candidate that year.

Rubio’s past 50%, that’s the important thing. Nobody will be able to see Quentin Crisp would’ve beaten him without Meek in the picture.

I have been predicting Rubio will hit 50%. With this poll, I have to wonder what will happen with Crist’s support. Spoiler independents almost always poll much higher than their actual vote.

I said the final would be Rubio 50%, Meeks 30%, and Crist 20%. Meeks has lived up to his name, and seems unable to even get all of the hard-core progressives into his camp. Meanwhile, some of Crist’s moderate Republican vote may shift to the perceived winner, and some may not vote.

I now think Rubio will hit close to 55% in the actual election.

The really scary part is that if he would have taken his loss like a man and waited, the GOP would have all but guaranteed him a Senate seat in the next election.
