Wikileaks: Iraq War Logs Claim Iran Supplied Chemical Weapons To Iraq
The Telegraph ^ | October 23, 2010 | By Nick Collins

Iranian rockets with "neuroparalytic" agents were identified as a threat to American and British forces during the war in Iraq, according to reports included in the files.

The missiles were highlighted in a military report released among 400,000 secret files by the whistle-blowing site Wikileaks on Friday night.

It states that on January 17, 2006, a group of militants in Iraq was able to buy 50 neuroparalytical projectiles from munitions smugglers.

The war logs contain repeated references to weapons smuggling and co-ordination of attacks by Teheran, even claiming that Iranian elements would dictate where assassination targets should be shot.

The biggest mistake that Bush and Rumsfeld made in 2003 was not right-wheeling into Iran after Baghdad fell. Why that country and its population of fanatics is not a smoldering crater in the ground today is beyond me.

Documents made public by Wikileaks recount Iran’s role in providing Iraqi militia fighters with rockets, magnetic bombs, rifles, surface-to-air missiles used against American helicopters.

The Iranians were scared witless in 2003 and afraid we might do just that. Everyone who remembers 1979, including the Iranians, knows that the US owns Iran a giant shipment of whipass. We don’t have to restore a civil government in Iran, just break up their toys real good, including anything that even is remotely useful for making a nuclear weapon.

The flip side of this was our response when al-Qaeda elements in Iraq started affixing chlorine cylinders to their bombs. And this *was* an effective use of chemical weapons against civilians.

Our response was crystal clear. To kill every single person associated with this technique. Wipe them all out. No pretense of capture. We have no sense of humor about these things.

I wonder if the Einsteins in the lame stream media realize that nerve agent is a weapon-of-mass-destruction (WMD) and therefore this finally and fully vindicates President Bush and his administration?

Since we destroyed all of our lethal chemical weapons and bacterial agents in agreements with the former Soviet Union, we reserve the use of nuclear weapons as a response to ANY attack by nuclear, biological or chemical (NBC) weapons. That is, and has been, the policy of our country for many years now, which is probably why we’ve never been attacked in such a fashion. The present occupant of the White House is trying to weaken that counterforce, which can only be on purpose.

Of course not. They still repeat the lie that no wmds were found, despite the fact that over 500 chemical munitions were found, along with prohibited missiles, credible evidence that weapons and programs were transferred to syria, lebanon and iran, seed stocks and starter kits for bioweapons, parts and plans for uranium enrichment centrifuges, yellowcake and admissions from iraqi higher ups that saddam planned to restart everything once sanctions were lifted.

Even Hannity has bought into the lie.

If they found an Olympic swimming pool filled with liquid nerve agent, the media would claim it was purely for medical use. If they found a thousand gas cylinders, the media would claim it's culturally appropriate substitute for helium for children's balloons, due to GEORGE W.BUSH's evil embargo against Iraq. If they found a mountain of anthrax powder, they would claim it was once a mound of wheat to feed the children, but due to GEORGE W.BUSH's embargo, the wheat went bad.

If this is accurate, why would we not have made this part of the public record?

The biggest hit Bush took was "there were no weapons of mass destruction". This would clearly show that there were.

I truly thought that the invasion of Iraq was simply a prelude to the invasion of Iran. Had things gone according to plan, I think we would have hit Iran.
