"We asked for leaders who will recognize our foundation that America is the idea of being the most generous country on earth. The most prosperous, the most safest county. United under God, we are an exceptional country and that is nothing to apology for. Our America, we do not seek its fundamental transformation. We see it's restoration all that is good and strong and free in America there is no alternative and it's nothing to apologize for. We've got a president today who's getting pretty good at apologizing," Sarah Palin said in Anaheim, California on Saturday.

My apologies ... I a transcript that is automatic (read: a computer that gives out what it hears phonetically).

I have personally gone over the transcript and corrected it with what she really said.

Please don’t call me a pissant. we’re not liberals here — no name calling.

I watched the live stream of the speech. She did not say “most safest.”

Watch the speech if you can....those words are verbatim from the writer not Sarah, She doesn’t say “that America is the idea of being the most generous country on earth.” in that way

But my question to all is why do so many even on FR (and I don’t mean you in this case indy) but in general go over every line or nuance for errors or mistakes from Sarah Palin but give everybody else a break?

I have always looked at McCain as Palin’s mulligan. Everyone deserves one mulligan in life.

If Palin had gone off the reservation and endorsed more RINO’s I would have agreed with you but deep down I knew this would be the only time that she “strayed” and that was why I was willing to overlook the endorsement of McCain. I hope many more Freepers see that Palin now is really a Reagan conservative and as you say begin to back her 100%.

As I have often said in this election cycle, in 2008 there was no conservative running and the primary voters had a right to bitch about that but in 2012 if Palin runs they will have no excuse if a RINO prevails. You are not about to see any other legitimate conservative candidate put himself or herself forward but Palin. Get used to it if you are a conservative, especially a Reagan conservative. It’s either Palin or Romney. Take your pick.

SARAH was fantastic! She’s a true patriot and REALLY knows how to express herself! Crowd was wild for her...as usual. Steele did a great job as well and we just have to get VAN TRAN elected! Oh, Breitbart was a riot! Calling the goons Nancy Reid and really made it work for himself throughout. Work hard and Pray for our Country!

She didn’t utter those words. The “quotes” were not accurate.

I, for one, apologize for America for the 2008 Presidential election (’a day that will live in infamy...’)

I hope it isn’t verbatim.

It is not. She did not say "most safest."

“But my question to all is why do so many even on FR...in general go over every line or nuance for errors or mistakes from Sarah Palin but give everybody else a break?”

For the same reason a gross and patently unfair double standard is always deployed, to further an agenda, whether hidden or overt.

Many of the anti-Palin storm troopers, dripping with their faux concern over her “qualifications”, “intelligence” and “experience” are transparently substandard thespian/propagandists.

I kind of figured something was wrong with the transcript.

I did disagree with her on one point. A good old election is by far not going to be a fix for America’s problems.

Obozo isn’t going away for over two years. He has messed up so much in that two years that it will take decades to return from the damage.

I would expect Obozo to rule by executive order and challenge a GOP Congress to do something about it.

If we are lucky enough to regain the WH in 2012, there is going to be some misery coming for many who aren’t going to go quietly into the night.

Rough times ahead.

This is from cnn - only a partial.

Too bad it cuts out.

It odes however, capture her stinging remark at the lamstream:

“to the press, Yes, I will invoke Reagan’s name today, again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again,”

“but I will not invoke, Mao’s Alinsky etc.”

GO SARAH!
