How corporate interests and Republican insiders built the Tea Party monster (major puke alert)
Rolling Stone ^ | Matt Taibbi

Posted on 10/13/2010 12:14:36 PM PDT by Beave Meister

It's taken three trips to Kentucky, but I'm finally getting my Tea Party epiphany exactly where you'd expect: at a Sarah Palin rally. The red-hot mama of American exceptionalism has flown in to speak at something called the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, a gospel-music hoedown in a giant convention center filled with thousands of elderly white Southerners. Palin — who earlier this morning held a closed-door fundraiser for Rand Paul, the Tea Party champion running for the U.S. Senate — is railing against a GOP establishment that has just seen Tea Partiers oust entrenched Republican hacks in Delaware and New York. The dingbat revolution, it seems, is nigh.

Matt should stick to writing about what Lady Gaga will dress up as for Halloween.

Read some of the original article. Karl Rove is supposed to be one of the secret leaders of the Tea Party. And his public slamming of O’Donnell, etc.? Hah, that’s just brilliant reverse psychology! Rove, you magnificent bastard!

I took this picture at one of the first Tea Party rallies in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Man, have you ever seen such a collection of "corporate interests and Republican insiders" in your life????

Matt Taibbi: you're a tool. And not the useful kind, either.

The Tea Partiers have a lot more hand made signs than the so called "labor" protesters.

Tell that to Taibbi at Rolling Stoned and he’ll just reply that that sounds like a good band name.

It’s such a joke. Everyone with half a functioning cerebellum knows who the “professionals” are - tax-fattened union layabouts and their pinkie-ringed bosses, who organize rent-a-mobs with financial assistance from the left-wing Washington infrastructure (CAP, ACORN, Tides, the Apollo Alliance, and on and on and on...)

And yet Rolling Stone remains, a hangover relic from the hippiedom of San Francisco.

The left isn’t just projecting -
they are INCAPABLE OF CONCEIVING
of any group or movement that isn’t organized
in a top-down manner.

From Wikipedia....."Taibbi spent his childhood in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Concord Academy and Bard College at Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, then spent a year abroad at Saint Petersburg Polytechnical University. His father is Mike Taibbi, an NBC television reporter."

Spolied, private school, rich kid who got his job through daddy complaining about hard working Americans.
