Breaking News: President Obama Says "I'm Having a Great Time" On Vacation

Last night President Obama and First Lady Obama dined at State Road Restaurant in West Tisbury on Martha’s Vineyard.
Their dinner companions were family friends Dr. Eric and Cheryl Whitaker, senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, and lawyer and business executive Vernon Jordan and wife Ann Dibble Jordan.
As they departed the restaurant at 9:55 pm ET, reporters asked the president if he was enjoying his vacation even with the rain.
"I'm having a great time,” the president said. “Doing a lot of reading"
Among the president’s reading materials is Jonathan Franzen’s “Freedom,” which is not yet on shelves. During a weekend visit to a local bookstore in Vineyard Haven the owner gifted the president with the store’s advanced reading copy.

When I was young we were poor, really poor. My grandmother never threw anything away that could be used to make quilts. She used old flour bags and scraps of whatever material she had on hand.
I still have some of my grandmother’s quilts and love them because they were all handmade by her but....I hate to admit it but MO’s dress looks like it could have been stitched out of one of those quilts.

You know, the guy who made a nation-wide ad lying to America about GM repaying all the money taxpayers gave them. I see a difference in the spelling of the surname but that could be a typo in this article.

Oh, I’m so glad.
This year we will take our first vacation...of any kind...in seven years. This guy has taken six so far in less than two years. There are 14 million Americans out of work. He’s staying in a $50,000 rental house.
Like I said, I’m so glad the rain isn’t getting him down.
