The Truth of Mexicos Civil War with Drug Cartels
El Blog Del Narco ^ | 13 August 2010 | Candor7

Posted on 08/13/2010 12:58:50 AM PDT by Candor7

Relatively few people in the United States know of the horrible tragedies that are now being visited upon the people of Mexico by a war between drug cartels, and the government of Mexico. The US media does not report the full story, and the Government of Mexico has a press black out on much of what is happening in Mexico concerning the war between the Mexican Government, and the drug cartels who war among themselves.

To complicate matters the drug gangs often wear federal uniforms while performing assaults on their victims.

One anonymous web site operates a blog which receives posts, photographs, and videos of some of the horrors being comitted.

The person operating the site has literally blown the lid off of the press black out in Mexico, and the press non coverage in America. He is a computer security expert who exercises all of his skill to stay anonymous. It is an heroic effort. He works at the risk of his own life to get the news out to the world.

Americans should no longer remain ignorant of what is happening in Mexico, which in some areas is in the throes of a civil war.It is not much wonder that Texas Governor Rick Perry and Arizona Gvernor Jan Brewer have asked for federal support to secure the Southern border. The violence you see on this site spills over into the United States. The US federal government follows the policy that it is"business as usual", when in fact it is far from it.

Why?

The US public would become further resistant to all questions of illegal alien amnesty, once this knowledge is disseminated about what is being imported into our nation along with those who come to the US illegally from Mexico. They bring with them the cycle of violence , revenge and death, as well as gang members who fight each other incessantly.

So I draw the attention of Free Republic Members to this site, and caution that it is not for the weak of heart or those with weak stomachs. The site graphicaly portrays raw, unedited photos and videos of gun battle results, torture and execution. The site serves as a record of what is actually happening in Mexico.

If one wishes, the url page references can be entered into whatever web based translator one wishes, to have each page's text rendered into English.

May this site be of benefit to those who wish to do research into the terrible things that happen South of our border, and may the US public learn the truth.

In this way this knowledge may aid us so we may eventually secure our Southern border, and then perhaps we as a nation can be of assistance to bring this tragedy in Mexico to an end.Such violence must not be allowed to be imported into the United States.

Wat ever it takes we have to git 'er done, and soon!

First we have to get the fascist man child oout of the White House after cleaning out the RINOS in the GOP.I think man child should resign, NOW!(I demand his resignation as a farudulent, unqalified person who occupies the office fraudulently.) And then we have to build the Southern Border, we can't just "seal it" We have to build it and man it. And we have to destroy the Mexican War Lords, ASAP. And the people demand it, have been demanding it and will not rest until they have it.Its priority 1 !

80 years ago, the same thing was going on with alcohol, both within the US and outside the US (who supplied a lot of the liquor).

Organized crime all but ran parts of the US. It led to all kinds of stupid laws like the National Firearms Act, because no one wanted to face up to the real problem.

And the moral absolutists insisted that nothing would change if we repealed Prohibition. Guess what? It did. We closed a dark chapter on this country's history, only to open another one because another target was needed. This time, it was more convenient to target the mood altering drug of choice for people other than the white majority -- because racism was still in vogue.

You can make all the excuses and rationalizations that you want. But, until you realize that it's driven by your personal morality rather the actual self-inflicted damage by drug abuse, the War on Some Drugs will continue to destroy this country (and our neighbors) from within.

You are wasting our time, and mine. This is not a drug legalization thread.

If you need a platform to preach from, please start your own thread.

Holy crapola - you are stupid!

These gangsters, the Mexican Cartels, have an infrastructure that they will go to great lengths to maintain. A black market to get around the regulations and taxation that our Federal government will levee against addictive drugs, just like they do tobacco, will result in a raging black market.

It HAS happened in other places.

Pot, this is Kettle, you are black. Over

You people learn nothing from history.  Prior to Prohibition, there was no organized crime to speak of. Sure, there have always been small geograpically-based criminal bands, but nothing like the organizations that sprang up in the wake of prohibition due to the huge amount of money that it generated. There was the same death and destruction on the streets in the big cities that we see today during prohibition because there were no legal avenues to keep that sort of thing in check. Today you don't see Miller brewing and Budweiser killing off thier compentition to fight over distribution rights like you saw back then.

Once prohibition was repealed, the level of violence was dramatically reduced. This is a simple, observable fact that those of you who support neoprohibition, and the drug lords just simply refuse to acknowledge. You'd rather keep the drug cartels, gangs, and their governmental enablers on the gravy train rather than admit that the entire enterprise has been a huge waste of resources and liberty-destroying compact between the dealers and the government.

It's true that there will be remnants around to attempt to get around any regulations and taxation that might be put im place after legalization, but that's an entirely different level of a problem, because the profit margins just simply don't compare.

Personally, I agree with other posters on this thread who have pointed out drugs are used to keep people docile, much like football, and American Idol. They have many avenues of social control, and drugs, which include alcohol and tobacco are just one of many tools used to keep the average joe from thinking about how different this country has become from that which existed prior the inroads made in the name of the "war on drugs".

However, I believe that the damage done by this fake "war" and the power it has gven to the government, is a bigger danger than some fellow down the street smoking a joint or doing some blow.

The drug warriors created the drug cartels, and continue to support them, as your response above indicates.

If you're not going to respect your own call to drop the subject (see post #119) then you have no ground to stand on calling on others to respect it.

I let myself get beat up in order to give you that respect.

Thank you, Candor7. It is not a problem by any means. I just felt like you were sending a mixed message and I was getting caught in the middle on it. I'm sorry if I came across too sharply. When things start to get confused I just cut to the bottom line and leave out the frills of communication hoping the smoke will clear. I was pretty certain that it would and it has.

FReegards and again this is not a problem.
It's just life in the big city and we've both been there and seen the elephant.

We will end up going into Mexico to destroy the warlords that want to carve the country up. The first order should be every Mexican must own a firearm for protection. The second order is we will not stay one day later than needed. The 3rd order will be a judicial system that will deal with corrupt Mexican citizens. The 4th order will be free elections.

If Iraq can figure out how to be a normal country, so can Mexico with some help.

We need to bring back the troops from overseas and place
them on the border, with full gear, and totally seal the
border. Mexico has been corrupt since the Spanish arrived!

Prohibition of drugs currently turning Mexico into a model of the USA during prohibition of alcohol early in the 20th century...is there a lesson to be learned here?

Right. And the legalization of drugs wiill sole the problem. You are as bad as the nagic wand theorists who belive that just by waiving a magic wnd, all problems will be solved.

Buahahahahahahahaha!

Social engineering is a liberal trait. Drugs are not prohibited in the USA, they are prescribed as medicine. You want to allow our population to become lethargic, and escapist. China and its historical deatruction by opium is the true example of the legalization of such drugs.China now hasn’t got much of a drug propblem, chronic abusers and dealers are executed, they learned their lesson the hard way.Why should we?

What a laugh!
