Absoltuey,what scared me is just how slick/polished and how bland faced the representative got,not letting anything said bother her even when one lady caller from Minn. pointed out all the abuses and wrongs of open borders.
she kept migrating back to the govt.needs to solve the problem code for amnesty.

No mention of the FBI losing Shazam when he left his house in Connecticut. After all, he left in a third car.
Rudy has fixed on what has bothered me about Holder. Well, lots of things about him bother me, but as Rudy points out, he is always studying things and looking into things and working with Congress on things (this last probably isn’t true), but he is never getting things done.
Also, they all hurry to tell us that Shahzad continues to talk. We have no way of knowing that that’s true.
I did hear a short clip of Bennett saying that some of his votes contributed to the toxic atmosphere.

Hah, Rudy gets it. The Republicans in Utah did not dump Bennett because he’s not conservative enough. It’s because he is an accomodationist, likes to work across the aisle, and spends, spends, spend.
We need fighters who will resist this Democrat Socialist party with everything they have. Bennett will not do that.
Which just confirms my long held belief that Lieberman cannot be trusted; never could and never will. I am always amazed when Freepers express confidence or hope in AlGore’s running mate.

Our country is drowning in Political Correctness and Big Government. At the same time Americans need to reclaim our country, we need to remember that the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution exist first of all to protect Americans from government, starting with the US Government.

Talking to lamestream media parrot Katie Couric, mayor Bloomberg speculated that the would-be bomber was probably — “somebody with a political agenda who doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything.”
This was thinly veiled code for a white “tea bagger” or some such bit of dementia and only slightly thicker code for the underpinning reality of what “counter-terrorism” means in the Obamsky era—”WE ARE LOOKING TO BUST WHITE PEOPLE.”
But it gets worse.
After Shahzad was (reluctantly?) busted a few moments from taking off for Dubai, Bloomberg’s big utterance on the matter was—
“We will not tolerate any bias or backlash against Pakistani or Muslim New Yorkers,” he said.
So, here the code is extended from not just “we are looking to bust white people” (the above-caution is surely meant to indict whitey in advance of some mythic act of revenge that NEVER actually occurs after jihadi attacks on America) but to also PROTECT Muslims and Arabs in a way that whites are NOT being protected as the jihadi bombers waltz in and out of the US unfettered.
You’d have to be a stupid liberal (redundant, I know) not to see what is going on here.
But here now is the WORST thing in all this as regards Shahzad’s failed attack and the Christmas Day underwear bomber’s failed attack.
You only KNOW they were Muzzie terrorists BECAUSE they failed. Had these bombs gone off, the Obamsky Regime would have enough fog surrounding evidence and such to propose that perhaps the bombers were indeed whites with anti-Obamacare agendas or (at the very least) that they “could be anything.”
As if.
You see that racial profiling IS going on already—whites are being targeted as mythic attackers while Muzzies and Arabs are being protected as mythic victims. The multi-billion dollar Homeland Security effort is entirely a propaganda device in which whites are harassed as they attempt to use airports while Muslims and Arabs are ushered along expeditiously—an utter waste of money since it is the terrorists who are inevitably allowed to “go fly” as Michelle Malkin puts it.
And let’s not forget: in both failed cases the attackers were known terror threats. The Christmas bomber’s father had TOLD American officials his son was volatile; and Shahzad had been on watch and no-fly lists since the 1990s. In the case of Nidal Hasan at Fort Hood (the “succcessful” attacker) he had told the Army of his inclination to murder Americans years in advance of his attack—yet the Obamsky Regime only began calling this man a terrorist a week ago, months AFTER he killed 14 and wounded many others.
Terrorism is the province of Muslim and Arab jihadis but they are a PROTECTED CLASS now under the new Homeland Security ethic—which is entirely structured to attack Obamsky’s political opponents, white people.
This isn’t just a “waste” of money, it is billions upon billions spent to facilitate terrorism on American soil and cover up who the perpetrators of it are. Our own money is being used to condemn us or to kill us. If this isn’t treason there is no such thing.
I have completely stopped watching the Sunday Morning Shows . .. David Gregory, Jake Tapper, and Bob Schieffer are all liberals and always ask easy questions for the Obama Regime.
I find I am much happier not watching that garbage on Sunday morning.
This a perfect example of how the left talks out of both sides of their mouth. On one hand they say "you conservatives did not complain when Bush was increasing spending" and then when we get rid of republicans that voted increase spending they say "oh all you right wingers are so extreme". Can't have it both ways.

I remember pictures of the Andrew Jackson admin, with all the common people, taking over the White House and shocking the elites with their manners and habits.
I suppose Kathleen Parker, George Will, et al, will be shocked and dismayed with the next administration we have, let alone the makeup of the Congress. Hopefully a real American will win the White House next time. Abd bring a big broom with them.

In fact he was referencing a law already on the books that permitted something similar (although I was distracted when he was talking & didn’t hear all the specifics). But I’d be just as happy for the gov’t to start charging people with insurrection or treason if they affiliate with al-Queda & attempt a terror attack. Then hang ‘em high in Times Square!

Peter King said that leaks from the WH have been outrageous. He said very early after the car was discovered he was hearing things (about the investigations) from public sources that have never been made public before. We truly have the fifth column inside the Regime.
Charging, yes, but if they are US Citizens it should be in accordance with their Constitutional Rights and due process of US Law.
