I’d like to tell you about a Commonsense Conservative running for office in California this year. She grew up in a modest home with a school teacher dad, worked her way through several colleges, and then entered an arena where few women had tread. Through a combination of hard work, perseverance, and common sense, she proved the naysayers wrong to reach the top of her field, where she led with distinction – facing hard truths, making tough decisions, and showing real leadership through a rocky transition period. Where others had failed, her company had weathered the storm and settled on a stronger new foundation.
Her name is Carly Fiorina, and I’m proud to endorse her for U.S. Senate.
Carly is the Commonsense Conservative that California needs and our country could sure use in these trying times. Most importantly, she’s running for the right reasons. She has an understanding that is sorely lacking in D.C. She’s not a career politician. She’s a businesswoman who has run a major corporation. She knows how to really incentivize job creation. Her fiscal conservatism is rooted in real life experience. She knows that when government grows, the private sector shrinks under the burden of debt and deficits. We can trust Carly to do the right thing for America’s economy and to make the principled decisions she has throughout her professional career.
Please consider that Carly is the conservative who has the potential to beat California’s liberal senator, Barbara Boxer, in November. I’m a huge proponent of contested primaries, so I’m glad to see the contest in California’s GOP, but I support Carly as she fights through a tough primary against a liberal member of the GOP who seems to bear almost no difference to Boxer, one of the most leftwing members of the Senate. Carly needs our support in this crucial election year when we have a real chance of putting an end to the Pelosi/Reid “Big Government” agenda.

Her one weakness is that she’s a Republican. She puts the party before her conservatism.
I like DeVore a lot but I don’t think he stands a chance of winning. I haven’t seen one DeVore ad here, not one. Only Whitman and Poizner(Over and over again unfortunately) if you read her statement carefully, she clearly states she is going with the candidate that has the best chance of defeating Boxer..Fiorina might have the best chance

Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO turned top John McCain aide, said she doesn’t think Sarah Palin is qualified to run a major corporation. For that matter, Fiorina said, McCain, Obama and Biden aren’t capable of that kind of job either.
So. Vote for Chuck anyway! Typical GoP to squander its support potential on moderates.
Sarah has some ‘splaining to do.. Maybe she needs to kick the McCain legacy to the curb and get onboard with DeMint instead of oppose him..

With RINO endorsements like this it tells me she is picking the sure RINOs annointed by the GOP alleged leaders.
They have palin on a short leash. He only flex is on races the GOP does not care about.

Right or wrong, here is the reason she did it. Maybe she believes in deep blue areas, RINO is better than Liberal.

“It is a fallacy to suggest that the country is like a company. So, of course, to run a business, you have to have a lifetime of experience in business, but that’s not what Sarah Palin, John McCain, Joe Biden or Barack Obama are doing.”
DeVore is the only logical choice. Palin loses credibility again.
How has that benefited the nation?

Polls say otherwise.. almost anyone that had backing of the Gop could beat Boxer.. yet the party bigwigs always back the ‘pragmatic’ candidate and try to sell it to the base as the best we can get.

Well, I'll take Carly over Barbara Boxer ANY day. I'm afraid Chuck Devore has so little name recognition, that it would guarantee Boxer a win. Sorry FightforFreedomCA, I'm firmly with Sarah on this one.

Chuck is the real deal. why buy into more gristled moderate? it’s bad enough Kirk and Castle will likely go into the Senata as Rinos. why do we need to send carly when with party support , chuck can get it done.
The primary will tell. endorsements are not votes. We’ll see. :-)
I like Newt. He has the experience and foresight we need for president. Name anyone even close that has any chance?
There is a difference between a RINO in blue areas and a RINO in purple or red areas.

Agreed. DeVore is not well known enough to win in California. Fiorina is going to have a tough time winning there as well.
Californians aren’t going to vote for a straight-up conservative any more.
This line of reasoning makes me so damned angry I would spit nails.
“Let’s don’t fight this battle, we can’t win.” “No this battle simply doesn’t look right.” “Oh I wish we could fight this battle, but no, we can’t win this one.” “Well, it would be nice to win a battle, but we can’t win these kind of battles.” “Wow, it sure would be great to remove the RINOs. This just isn’t the time.”
For C’s sake, when do you folks plan on taking a stand, when we’ve been pushed out of our end zone? If we listen folks like you, our nation will be gone ten years before you’ll agree it’s time to engage in a battle.
Nothing against what I consider to be a nice person, but please get behind some of the right people will ya. Otherwise nothing is EVER going to change.
I don’t know a lot about Carly but have seen her on several shows and like her. Don’t know anything about DeVore.
