“Me too. The Bourbon is sitting on the counter and its calling my name. :)”
Little bit of Bourbon and you might be able to tolerate listening to the Boy Wonder’s speach later on LOL! ........just for laughs of course.
Subjects to citizens to subjects in less than 250 years.
Steve King said they don’t have the votes?
May God bless your friend! Thank you for the report!
tax cheat rangel up
No honor among thieves, don't cha know?
Take a look at Senate Budget Committee Ranking Member Judd Greggs statement tonight.
Immediately after receiving the final reconciliation bill language, Senate Republican staff was ready and willing to meet with Senate Democratic staff and the Senate Parliamentarian to discuss the fact that the House reconciliation bill may be brought down by the 310(g) point of order in the Senate. Senate Democrats are mysteriously unavailable until after the House votes on the health care bill tonight. The Senate Democrats appear to be pushing off this meeting so that House Democrats will remain in the dark about what is likely to happen to the reconciliation bill on which many have staked their careers in Congress. House Democrats should be alarmed by this latest development, since the survival of the reconciliation bill is clearly at risk in the Senate.
Should be in JAIL instead of the House floor.
The crook speaks!
Maybe she's counting votes, and had to take her shoes off... BI%(H
RANGEL - Please go away you POS!
Me too. The Bourbon is sitting on the counter and its calling my name. :)
Little bit of Bourbon and you might be able to tolerate listening to the Boy Wonders speach later on LOL! ........just for laughs of course.
It would take more than Bourbon! LOL
Sander Levin sounds like he’s had a few himself, doesn’t he?
Here comes that crooked SOB Rangel - what a lying cheat. And making this all about him.
He needs to be run out of town on a rail.
Most ethical Congress evah! /s
Rangel - Doesn’t want to distract from the bill by talking about himself.....by talking about himself....LOL!
go lay on the beach you tax cheat
Ah, here’s Charlie Rangell. If he simply paid the taxes he owed, maybe his constituents could get health coverage.
Communication will be vital from now until November - I’m thinking FR needs something like a weekly newsletter with the latest stories, updates, links etc. Some kind of reference point for everything that will be happening from now until the election.
What do you think?
You are right. I was using 3/4 even though I knew it was 2/3rds. Very few bills vetoed ever get overturned. Just dreaming about handcuffing Obama for 2 years.
So the numbers to override a veto would be Senate 67, House 288.
Just in time for Commie Charlie Rangel! Pay your taxes, you old thief!
And he just keeps talking after his time is expired!
Yes, the threat , the enemy are the democrats/Marxists.
Democrats are turning our once free republic into a socialist utopia where we will all be starving slaves of the government.
LOL! Enjoy it, m’dear onyx.
If I still drank- God knows, I’d have one now too.
The line has been drawn. I'll fight and if I die, that's better than living in slavery. (to paraphrase Churchill's immortal words.)
Stupak is a baby killing bastard. Sold his vote for an airport improvement huh? His new campain slogan should be “No Fetus Can Beat Us”
Cheers! Putting the buzz in LadyBuzz! ;^D
You’e got to be kidding me.
These guys should be in Orange Jumpsuits.
Please send this to Coburn’s office.
Healthcare is a right! Wow.
I dont know who the democrat is giving out the time..but is he always like this..sounds drunk
Facebook page is on fire with support for Stupak’s opponent
Daniel Benishek is running for Congress against Bart Stupak. Since Stupak announced that he cut a deal with Barack Obama and will now support Health Care Reform, Benisheks Facebook page has been on fire with well-wishes, and commitments of donations.
Benishek is pro-life, and as a surgeon knows a little about Health Care.
Oh boy - on FNC just now. Woman arrested outside Steny Hoyer’s office.
Demonrats, exactly , They deemed this bill , that they are deemons.
UPDATE FROM D.C.
My Friend called and they read my text message over the PA and PLUGGED FREE REPUBLIC. THE CROWD IS SO TIRED AND REALLY APPRECIATED WELL WISHES.
THEY ARE BEGGING FOR BACK UP SO THEY ARE ASKING FREEPERS CLOSE TO THE D.C. AREA TO COME OUT AND HELP. THEY NEED YOUR PHYSICAL SUPPORT. AND PLEASE PRAY.
LOL. Don’t drink it all!
Keep one thing in mind during these horrific times -— Success is the best revenge. We can’t let them get away with it.
Stop screaming! Barf-o-rama!
We can’t wait! Health care is a right!
Congressman Lewis, if health care is a right, then why am I being forced (at the point of a gun) to pay for it with my tax money?
Oh my GOD, John Lewis should be ASHAMED.
Yes, I sent it to Greta also and it took place shortly before last year’s first vote — so early November 2009 or late October 2009.
I thought he may have a flask in his pocket....LOL!
15,000 IRS thugs—all hired from ACORN.
Not only will I not watch the Pacific, but I will not buy it for anyone, nor will I frequent anything related to Speilburg or his frequent producer Kathleen Kennedy, no relation.
I certainly fear that our nation is being overrun tonight with no shots fired! If the crooks can pull this off then they can do anything they want to....there is nothing we can do. Watch now for the immigration bill...it will also play out just like the terrible health care bill...but they will pass that too. Since they do not serve the people, we have no voice. I do not believe the Nov. election will change anything. They have the power now to see that the results are just as they want them.....God Bless the America that used to be.
I screamed at the computer! Who was that guy? He sounded like Calypso Louis Farrakhan!
There's not enough bourbon in AMERICA for that!
Subjects to citizens to subjects in less than 250 years.
Did you ever think you’d see this in your lifetime? I never did. I can’t help thinking that we lost our Representative Republic today.
Thanks, Kittie...can we have hope again tonight that this will be stopped?
Ditto the rest part.
“...no one would consider doing the same to a returning vet today.”
Tell me about it... almost turned around and went back to Europe.
But under King Hussein, that will return...

“STATEMENT BY THE NATIONAL RIGHT TO LIFE COMMITTEE
ON ABORTION “DEAL” ON HEALTH CARE LEGISLATION
WASHINGTON — (Sunday, March 21, 2010, 6 PM EDT) — In response to today’s announcement regarding an agreement between Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mi.) and President Obama on the pending health care bill (H.R. 3590), the following statement was issued by the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), the federation of right-to-life organizations in the 50 states:
The National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) remains strongly opposed to the Senate-passed health bill (H.R. 3590). A lawmaker who votes for this bill is voting to require federal agencies to subsidize and administer health plans that will pay for elective abortion, and voting to undermine longstanding pro-life policies in other ways as well. Pro-life citizens nationwide know that this is a pro-abortion bill. Pro-life citizens know, and they will be reminded again and again, which lawmakers deserve their gratitude for voting against this pro-abortion legislation.
The executive order promised by President Obama was issued for political effect. It changes nothing. It does not correct any of the serious pro-abortion provisions in the bill. The president cannot amend a bill by issuing an order, and the federal courts will enforce what the law says.
To elaborate: The order does not truly correct any of the seven objectionable pro-abortion provisions described in NRLC’s March 19 letter to the House of Representatives, which is posted here: www.nrlc.org/AHC/NRLCToHouseOnHealthBill.pdf
Regarding Community Health Centers (CHCs), NRLC has documented the problem created by H.R. 3590 here: www.nrlc.org/AHC/NRLCMemoCommHealth.html.
Prof. Robert Destro, a professor of law and former dean of the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, and an expert on abortion-related litigation, has sent lawmakers a letter explaining why the bill opens the door to direct federal funding of abortion in Community Health Centers: www.nrlc.org/ahc/DestroLetterToStupakOnCommHealthCenters.pdf
Prof. Destro clearly explains why it is the statutory language that will govern.
Regarding the new program to provide tax credits to purchase private insurance, the executive order merely tinkers with the formalities of a bookkeeping scheme under which federal subsidies will pay for plans that cover elective abortion — a break from the longstanding principles of the Hyde Amendment.
The order does nothing at all to mitigate the other abortion-related problems described in the NRLC letter, dealing with bill provisions that create dangerous regulatory mandate authorities, revise Indian health programs, and create pools of directly appropriated funds that are not covered by existing restrictions on funding of abortion. Nor can the order correct the omission from the pending legislation of the necessary conscience-protection language that had been included in House-passed health care legislation last November (the “Weldon language”).
For additional information regarding the abortion-related components of the legislation, and NRLC’s assessment of the gravity of these issues, please refer to the March 19 letter linked above, and other materials posted on the NRLC website at www.nrlc.org/AHC/Index.html. “
