I’d characterize that assessment as accurate.

I sympathise with those parents who have aparently lost their daughter. It is a sad thing that van der Slut was not whisked out of the country, and questioned by “experts”...in order to get to the truth.

Mister Vander Sloot has gone to his eternal reward. God will see that he gets exactly what’s coming to him; whether good or ill. Praise Jesus!

That is not a human spine. The intervertebral disk spaces are far too wide. This is not worth wasting five seconds of a policeman’s time.

I downloaded the pic and zoomed way in on the skull area. It sure looks like it could be a skull facing down and into the sand, with the jaw turned almost 180 degrees back to the right. Its really fuzzy but it looks like you can even see a gum and teeth looking area on the jaw..its all so smudged looking though when you zoom in..so who knows?

Its hard to say how the body was damaged before dumping, or what has been chewed on by animals...

...ready to inject KCl solution into a vein or artery. (If you are from a Blue State, KCl is potassium chloride). The Dutch use it for killing ‘volunteers’.

I would think it would be rather unusual for a body to remain together in the ocean with tide currents and natural predators etc.

There’s no scale to the photo. And nothing to gauge depth.

Like a depth gauge?
