Yes, and many states have already begun the process to block the effects of this horrid bill.

I’d support a military coup in defense of the Constitution if indeed Congress truly seeks to pass bills without even voting on them.

How far we have sunk.

Yeh he is awesome...I just love his Obamacare song “We The People”.

...sheik of the burning sand? I wonder how that one would go over if he had written it in today’s PC atmosphere:)

If they actually claim to have passed such a law, I don't see how it's going to stand up to court challenges.

They are lemmings rushing for the cliff.

Let’s just cut to the chase. Obama is hereby “deemed” to be re-elected in 2012. Right now. So we can dispense with that trivial formal exercise formerly known as an “election.”

(excerpt)

On Friday’s Mark Levin Show: Mark gives an update on the Slaughter bill and how Congress is going to try and deliberately disregard the Constitution and pass through this health care proposal without it being voted on. They are doing this because they don’t have the amount of votes to pass the Senate bill, and rather than be defeated they choose to violate the Constitution. Mark explains how this type of Constitutional deception has never occurred before and still there is hardly any coverage about this from the mainstream media.

Send this John Adams quotation to your Congressmen and Senators, along with the question:

"Do you save the President, or do you save "the People's" liberty?"

"Found in: John Adams, The Works of John Adams, vol. 4 (Novanglus, Thoughts on Government, Defence of the Constitution) - NO. III. - paragraph 144

"Obsta principiis (translation: resist the beginnings), nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers, and destroyers press upon them so fast, that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon the American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour. The revenue creates pensioners, and the pensioners urge for more revenue. The people grow less steady, spirited, and virtuous, the seekers more numerous and more corrupt, and every day increases the circles of their dependents and expectants, until virtue, integrity, public spirit, simplicity, and frugality, become the objects of ridicule and scorn, and vanity, luxury, foppery, selfishness, meanness, and downright venality swallow up the whole society."

John Adams words castigate the "arbitrary power" holders in Washington today who have gained their offices by promises to "redistribute" the earnings of hard-working citizens, thereby encouraging dependency among the citizenry, and a certain path to tyranny by those who hold the reins of power in government.

Isn’t it likely that the Supreme Court would rule such shennigans unconstitutional?

The Supreme Court will not involve itself in how the Legislative or Executive branch conduct its business. It never has. Our system has depended on people who play by the rules. Those people are gone and the Democratic Party is now a fascist organization that will test the limits of our voluntary democracy. Only revolution will stop them from becoming a fascist dictatorial state. Either we stand against them now or we lose our freedom to them. They are destroying our decent society and our government that depended on civility and decency. Slaughter? Interesting name for a communist/fascist...

Congressmen will not vote on Obamacare to save the Obama adminstration.

This is an election year. All members in the House will have to face voters in meetings this year which is an election year in order to get reelected. They are all keenly aware of the anger at the healthcare plan and that is why they have avoided townhall meetings last year.

...

No, Obamacare will go down in flames.
+++++++++++++++

I tend to agree with you optimistically. Do they really think that those of us who’ve been engaged in this battle for over a year, will simply take their explanation that they didn’t ‘really’ vote for Obamacare.

It’s absurd! They are the idiots if they think this. It would be the death of the RATS for 40 years, or forever.

“THIS IS ONE GIANT CONSPIRACY DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS BOTH
INVOLVED. THEY WON’T REPEAL IT FOR SURE.”

Huh? Other than Mitt Romney, who can you say helped usher in Obamacare? That’s even moreso the case in the last 12 months. Other than sins of omission for the past 15 years, how are the careerists in the R party involved in Obamacare? The problem is the Republicans (till just recently) havn’e risen up in battle against the socialist monster. That we can blame them for - but that we can blame the American people for as well.

Are you going to impugn the American people also, for electing MAO-bama?

Let’s unite NOW and retake America (like in your previous post.)

This is a direct attack on the Constitution and on the Republic by a congress and an administration that wishes to govern by fiat rather than by the laws on which this nation was founded.

If the Democrats are really stupid enough to do this, they will provoke a constitutional crisis the likes of which we haven’t seen since Watergate.

If the Democrats don’t like the Tea Party movement now, just wait. There may be blood in the streets before this is over.

How are you going to repeal it even if you have conservative majorities in Congress? You still have the socialist in the WH. He will veto any repeal and there will not be enough votes in Congress to override.
++++++++++++++++

Massive gridlock. Shut down the fed gov machinery. 2012 will loom large as THE repeal date. Meantime 10 to 40 million American patriots start holding back as much as possible to grind the socialist monster to a screeching halt.

We only fund our military and it’s going to take massive austerity to win that sort of battle I describe above.

I’m not sure we’re ready for it.

well, if it was passed illegally, then it should be able to be repealed...right?

If it were passed "illegally", it would not need to be repealed.

If it is passed legally, it can be repealed by simple majorities in each House - if the President signs the repeal.

If he vetoes the repeal, you will need 67 Senators and 291 House members to override the veto.

You’re not alone. They ram this through, it’s time to move outside comfort zone and revolt. I can assure you I will NEVER pay a single cent toward that health care plan nor will I comply in anyway. NEVER..read my lips.... never. If I have to leave, so be it.... NEVER.

They are right to think what they think of us since : first - we elected them all - second: besides cute teaparties, we do nothing to stop them . So yes they ARE right to think we are stupid. Sorry for the naked truth.
