It’s all about him.
He wants to get in and get out because he knows he doesn’t deserve it and it exposes him to ridicule.
Yet he can’t turn it down, the proverbial rock & hard place - especially since he alienated his Left by increasing troops in Afghanistan.

I'd love to watch those guys faces during one of those [non]pregnant pauses. That silence came after a Norwegian reporter basically asked "since you haven't done anything to earn this prize what will you do in the future to deserve it?" Zer0 just stood there with the dead fish look on his face.
Wouldn't you just love to see 0bama in a debate with GWB on what are the better policies for our country? GWB made some *big* mistakes but it would be so satisfying to see The One, without a teleprompter, get shut down by the "evil" George W. Bush. It would be good for the Conservative movement, too, despite GWB's shortcomings.

Hey Norway....Obie don't care what you think.
Heck, he doesn't even care what the citizens of the USA think.

Now, here’s what to watch. Measure his bow to the King against his bow to the Emperor and King Abdullah.
Wanna bet he royally screws up and leaves Norway in a hail of rotten tomatos?
Shabby award + shabby character = shabby treatment.

Oh, you’re so right! He’ll have to see the king at the award’s ceremony!
LOL! I like your rating’s scale. :)

Shabby award + shabby character = shabby treatment.Do you think he's snubbing them and treating them poorly because the timing of the award makes him look like an international fool?

Is it possible that they scheduled the awards to make him look that fool he is?

"According to a poll published by the daily tabloid VG, 44% of Norwegians believe it was rude of Obama to cancel his scheduled lunch with King Harald..." You get what you play for!

Is it possible that they scheduled the awards to make him look that fool he is?I think their head is too far up where it shouldn't be to want him to look foolish. I think the whole international leftist elite cabal is very shocked that they look so damn stupid for having given this nobody this "prestigious" prize that basically nobody respects anymore.

“LOL. 0bama got the prize for doing nothing. Why would Norway expect a proper response?”
Excellent point!

Arrogance and stupidity all in one package — how efficient of him.

Lunch with the King would have put Obama in a tough spot and Obama doesn't like tough spots. Liberals have argued that Obama was “just following protocol” when he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, etc. But if he bows to the King of Norway, he'd be bowing to a white guy!, and that would anger his left-wing base somethin fierce, so he just skips the whole thing to avoid the bow/no bow decision.
