My stepson is from Washington State and he's a great kid. I once ragged on Illinois and got a freepmail rant from some moron. The place is indefensible but he just screamed and shrieked. I visited that blasted toilet in 2006 and it was as bad as I thought, maybe worse. That doesn't mean that there aren't some fine people there, just not enough to matter.

It's no different in my town. I live in the human hellhole, the people's republic of Tucson. Some of the stupidest people on earth live here, old men too dumb to cut the pony tails off their otherwise bald heads, and fat women of dubious and unknown sexuality with abortion bumper stickers on their cars.

I've lived in Washington state for about 33 years now...but originally from upstate NY....

people in the west think NY is some kind of giant NYcity....its not...

NYS is a beautiful state with lots of farms,orchards, lakes,forests, lots of deer and bear, and some moose....it has a large Eastern Europeon ethnic heritage and most people are wonderful and great...

upstates get drowned out by the people in NY city, but that happens in other states too...like Washington state....Seattle thinks its in charge...
