The COUPLE, they themselves, went home and posted the photos of themselves all over their Facebook pages, and this is how they were discovered, the Secret Service did NOT publicize it, the COUPLE did, and the press ran with it.

Sounds to me like they should fit right in with the WH bunch.
This couple apparently is going to be on Housewives of DC, and it sounds like they arrived with BRAVO camera crew to record the evening. It’s hard to believe they weren’t on the guest list.

Several points:
1. It distracts from ClimateGate.
2. It’s peripherally about Obama, and to the MSM, anything about Dr. Utopia is endlessly facscinating, and
3. It POTENTIALLY shows us that the Secret Service are as sick of the Obamas as they were of the Clintons, and are doing things by rote, rather than full professionalism.
Number three, if correct, is the most telling point of this “event”. . .
Actually, I suspect that the Secret Service personnel who are currently guarding the president may not be the most competent or qualified.
All we have to go on are the photos, but there are many more black SS agents than I’ve ever seen before. I suspect they’ve probably shuffled off the more experienced agents to other jobs, and brought in every black in the agency, some of them possibly not terribly well qualified.
Obviously I don’t know that for sure, and if anyone questioned it they would probably be jailed for committing a racist hate crime. But that’s my impression. No doubt some of these black agents are highly qualified and experienced, but that may not be true of all of them, if they were picked purely on racial grounds.
Obama needs to have S.S. officers who are not an extension of his political campaign, and who know how to stand up for security and who know their business.
Look at how Obama’s S.S. cadre works:

In Raleigh , North Carolina they drove at high speed past civilian protesters who were on the sidewalks for the Obama visit,pointing weapons at the crowd, one with the rear window of one SUV open, brandishing a fully automatic weapon, alleged by some to be belt fed.

It was not the first time Tareq Salahi was involved in a publicity-generating stunt. In 1999, he had been playing on the American team at a high-profile polo match at Windsor Castle in Great Britain, and afterwards had been invited to a private reception honoring HRH Prince Charles, a player on the British team. At the exact moment that Tareq was to extend his hand to Charles for a simple grip and grin photo, an associate suddenly emerged from behind a curtain and thrust a magnum of Oasis Vineyards Special 2000 Millenium Sparkling Wine into the hands of the surprised prince.
A photo was snapped to capture the prince admiring the over-sized bottle, and the ensuing moment in time was blown up, wall-size, and hung in the Hume, Va. Tasting Room of the fledgling vineyard. For thousands of wine-buying tourists who passed by the photo over the years, it was an impressive marketing device, as in “The Prince of Wales drinks Oasis Wine, and so should you.”
The vineyard declared bankruptcy in February, after years of being in receivership and legal squabbles between Tareq and his parents over spending and the direction of the vineyard, which at one point also included a bottled water business, a fleet of town cars and limos, a luxury yacht for charters and a rental condo in St. Thomas, USVI. In 2007, two separate offers to buy the vineyard for around $4 million by a Miami-based holding company thought to be associated with pro basketball player Shaquille O’Neal and another by McLean, VA. Realtor N. Casey Margenau both fell through. A check of courthouse records in Fauquier County show 16 filings against them, including one from Tareq’s own mother Corrine contending that her son’s spending at the business “bankrupted” the parents.
Sheila Johnson, the co-founder of Black Entertainment Television and proprietor of Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, claimed in Loudoun County General District Court in a filing last year that her fledgling catering business is owed more than $300,000 by Salahi for an America’s Cup event, and the Virginia State Attorney General Bill Mims told reporter Alex Bogdonovich of The Fauquier Times-Democrat last summer that the Salahis’ charitable organization, Journey for a Cure, was not registered with the State Corporation Commission and warned givers that the State “could not be assured that funds were being spent for charitable purposes.”

But the team told FoxNews.com it’s never heard of Salahi. Michael Pehanich, Redskins assistant director of communications, and Terri Lamb, president of the Redskins’ cheerleader alumni association, said Friday that they have “no records to indicate she was a cheerleader for the team.”
Salahi, whose maiden name is Holt, also claims on her Facebook page to have modeled for a number of top fashion and women’s magazines, including Vogue, Elle Magazine and Victoria’s Secret.
But a spokeswoman for Victoria’s Secret told FoxNews.com on Friday that Salahi did not model for the company.

Michaele Salahi’s hairdresser at the Georgetown salon where she scheduled a last-minute appointment hours before the dinner said she asked to look at the invitation to the White House event, but never saw it.
“She was so excited. She told me that she got it in the mail and it was just an amazing feeling and they couldn’t wait and in fact they called the White House, I believe, to make sure that she was going to be dressed appropriately,” Peggy Ioakim told “The Early Show” on Friday. Salahi wore a red sari to the dinner.

Michaele Salahi, 44, and whose maiden name is Holt, married Tareq in 2003 in a lavish ceremony attended by 28 bridesmaids and, according to a video posted on YouTube and her Facebook page, enjoyed a reception prepared by 46 chefs hosted in a 36,000 square-foot tent, capped off with a 30-minute fireworks display and an eight-foot wedding cake. The guest list reportedly included Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, as well as former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner and former U.S. Ambassador to Ireland Margaret Heckler.
Kennedy even joked at the couple’s wedding that he wanted to issue subpoenas to the bride and groom before the ceremony because their nuptials had been postponed and rescheduled four times, according to a 2003 report in the New York Post.
Tareq, meanwhile, battled his mother for ownership of the business his father started, Oasis Vineyards — a legacy he reportedly claimed his father had promised him — that included an unsolicited offer in June, 2007 from NBA star Shaquille O’Neal to buy the now bankrupt vineyard, an offer later rejected.
In his court fight, Salahi even accused her of “bullying tactics” that included wielding a handgun at the vineyard, the Fairfax County Times reported. He also filed a lawsuit against his mother’s attorney, accusing him of assault.
Michaele Salahi, meanwhile, demonstrated that she also was a force to be reckoned with. Facing a threat by county zoning officials to limit the number and kinds of money-making events the couple could host at the vineyard — such as parties, tastings and weddings — stemming from neighbors’ complaints, Michaele went to Richmond, registered as a lobbyist and pushed for passage of House bill 2643, legislation meant to strip power from county zoning authorities seeking to regulate “customary or usual” vineyard activities, the Fairfax County Times reported.

Heard the head of the team was reassigned after standing up for his people — don’t know it was a rumor or true but if they are losing experienced agents to other positions, then they have a big problem.
