Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our AWESOME Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Connie, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities. Lovely layout as usual.

Now for our local DC Metroland weather report

~ Today.....Areas of dense morning fog. A mix of clouds and sun. High 59F. Winds light and variable.

~ Tonight..... Cloudy with occasional rain showers. Low 39F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

It sure is foggy here this morning. It's going to be tough going for those starting their drive early. So, be careful out there.

At least it'll warm up some.

There are so many things I am thankful for. The # 1 being - Thankful for God's protection and many blessings. Then, my family, my health, FRiends, and of course, the wonderful troops for stepping up to the plate and doing what needs to be done. Knowing they are keeping watch allows me and my family to sit down to dinner in peace.

Remember, the Canteen is

Take a moment out of your day to stop in a give thanks to our troops. And, don't forget our Allies. It's great to have them in our corner.

Well, later this morning I'm going to put up the Christmas lights. Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the christmas holiday season and we always do this about this time every year.

It's a little cold this morning but forecast to reah near 60 this afternoon.

60 degrees is great! Excellent you have lights up now! I hope my Hubby and son get the lights up over the weekend for me. :) Maybe.....I can convince them tomorrow. ;) I tried last year and it was too difficult for me with some parts of it.
