I zm convinced that Casey was told not to say anything about Islam or the Muslim faith by Gates. I was watching him closely and he looked either emotionally broken up or pissed (fine line) I thought he got some digs into Obama at the very beginning of his speech. His manner of speech was fairly forceful. I’ll bet O put out the word that he would be the one to mention murderous acts. Again, he didn’t want someone else to steal his thunder. One last point, Obama didn’t write his speech, Casey did. FWIW

The victims of the 9/11 attacks were ALSO taken in vain.

The NYPD, NYFD, citizens, and clergy who died on 9-11 while attending to the victims did not die in vain. THEY gave their lives for their fellow man trying to save and give last rights to as many as they could.
