  We've seen headlines that describe the Ft. Hood terrorist attack as “typical workplace violence” and “pre- post traumatic disorder.” We've seen it called a tragedy. So far, few have covered the Ft. Hood killings more accurately or honestly than Col. Ralph Peters. In article after article printed in the New York Post Peters hasn’t shirked away from calling last Thursday’s slaughter an act of terrorism. (See “Call this horror by its name: Islamist terror,” Nov. 7; “Obama Can’t Be bothered by Islamic terrorism,” Nov. 8; “Deadly Denial,” Nov. 10). Even as The New York Times, MSNBC, CNN and other media sources try to rally around murderer Nidal Malik Hasan and paint him as a picked on soldier who cracked, Peters has slammed Hasan’s behavior and President Barack Hussein Obama for failing to label Hasan a Muslim terrorist – a moniker he has earned.

The one called “Army Major Played Role in Presidential Transition” is the one that bugs me. Has nobody else considered the possibility/probability that BO was behind the terrorism at Ft. Hood in some way?

I haven’t found or seen a thread about an official inquiry, if that’s what you mean. I have read a lot of concern and speculation about that idea amongst comments in various threads.

You’ve read a lot of speculation here about BO “possibly” having had some hand in this? Really? Well that’s hopeful. I only knew of myself and then one other person talking about it. And it was as tho nobody wanted to go there. I got maybe 2 replies in support of what seems like either the biggest coincidence in a long time or a probability that BO is involved in the Ft. Hood terrorist attack at some high level.

I doubt Beck will touch this because it can’t be substantiated as easily as the other things he’s accomplished (which i give him credit for). Haven’t listened to Rev. Manning for a couple weeks, but i wouldn’t be surprised if he is the lone voice in the wilderness connecting the dots between Hasans terrorism and “the long legged macdaddy”.

Well, it depends on what you call a lot. There have been comments, including threads about obama’s pathetic public reaction to the slaughter at fort hood. There have even been video comparisons of obama’s enthusiasm and passion for other groups like SEIU (compared on glenn beck’s show the day he was back after surgery)...he was way more animated for them. He seemed cold and distant when it came to showing compassion and feelings for our soldiers the first time he spoke about it publicly.

If you missed it, there is a thread about how he gave a shout out to his buds prior to discussing the terror act at fort hood.

The other comments related to his history..who he hung out with, his mentors, and where is his true allegience is. His first public speech was to muslims in the middle east... he bowed to a muslim leader..”Caught on tape” with a picture to forever show who he bows to. This has raised a lot of questions.. In my religion (Christianity) we were taught to bow to no one but God. Obama claims to be a Christian.

Check out the thread called “cowards”... I re-read the military mom’s comments a few times again this morning.

Oh yes, i know all that. I’m talking about the fact that Hasan was part of Obamas transition team and for that he participated in some Homeland Security Conference(s) and maybe other things too which we aren’t yet privy to.

But that is a very close connection between Hasan and Obama wouldn’t you say? I mean how many degrees of separation are there between you and Obama, or between you and Hasan? Yet these two men have a documented political connection. Obama may not have ever met the guy because that would be too chancy, but it’s so....odd that “a poor performing” muslim Major in the US Army would get chosen to be on Obamas transition team. Then about a year later gun down so many soldiers and other people at Ft. Hood.

I’ve not read every single thread, so I don’t know if that has been discussed or not. Excellent question though...and there are threads or links about the transition team and the role hasan played. I was under the impression he wasn’t an actual member, but did play a role. ??

Yep..Did you watch Glenn Beck yesterday? He said something big was going to be discussed on his show today. (I know they like to hype their shows via teasers)..but I’m watching it to see if he’s connecting the dots the way freepers have. He kept saying the day before yesterday (I think that was the day) to trust your gut feeling if you feel something doesn’t seem right) Yesterday, the president’s speech interrupted Glenn’s show, so I’m wondering what is up for today!

Did Hussein every REALLY say he was a Christian....?

I know of course.... that he attended Rev Wright's church in Chicago.....

But we also know that that Church is on record...via a Freeper thread....that Muslims were welcome to attend and take membership>>>>>

Ernest....I thought there were some comments about a video or transcript of his profession here on FR... so, now that you brought the question of whether he did say it or not, I’m trying to find the answer. I’ll ping you whether I can or cannot find the answer. On the sidenote: a lot of churches want people of other faiths to come in, for witnessing ....in hopes that God’s words will reach their souls. I personally call wright a psuedo pastor. :-p

Amom, re:hasan timeline: I don’t know if there is a timeline yet or not. I’ve been wrestling with the idea of either making one OR making a new archive that is categorized by thread topics which would help make researching him easier.. Obviously we have to be careful because news reports can be full of errors etc..
All of the fort hood related threads could be placed under the following:
Gun control, political correctness, memorials, fundraising, injury/recovery, terrorism, mental illness, military and president leadership behavior and reaction, and misc.
It would take some time, but is feasable. But not sure if it’s worth taking the time. What do you think?
