What I heard was that she told people if they couldnt make it today, to look for their congressperson, they could go tomorrow or saturday. It didnt mention that she would be having another rally. That is done.

I’m not as up on all the history of John Boehner as I could be, and if he did condemn Joe Wilson’s saying “You lie!” to Obama, then Boehner was wrong to have said that. It was perfectly within Wilson’s right to say it, and it was the TRUTH & needed to be shouted.
However, Boehner strongly opposed the Obama trillion-dollar stimulus plan and now he’s again holding together the Republicans against Obama/Pelosi care, so we appreciate that good work.
Some tea party members from here, have been there since Monday roaming the halls.

They were angry, just as angry as millions of other people out there, but there is no one to stir them up and lead the charge. These are not leftist radicals, after all, who can always call upon a community organizer to lead the assualt. These poor folks have to get back to work or to make the kid’s dinner.

Exactly my point. It was a leftist blogger and yet it is still attributed to Tea Party organizers - and frankly was repeated here often during the rally and after. I took a LOT of heat on this forum for giving my much lower crowd estimate, which was proven far more accurate. I cited all those points at the time and was called all sorts of lovely names by Freepers.
And my point then is the same as now - be thrilled that this is a movement and that this many people are coming out. A couple of thousand on a Thursday for an even that was not widely publicized until the last 2 days is pretty amazing. As was the 70-100k that showed up for the tea party protests. Artifically inflating these numbers serves no purpose than as a set-up for illegitimacy.
You’d think FReepers would have learned their lesson on crowd estimates.

Seen it. Watched the whole thing. Seen LOTS of protests and lots of overhead shots. No where NEAR 1 million. Can’t believe people still fall for that nonsense.
