See 339. We’re thinking alike.
In this shot you notice the wall behind the bench right? O.K., so they would have to be on the street facing side with Central Park in the BACKGROUND. It's been a while since I was to New York, but I believe the outer walkway to the Park is just a sidewalk without benches. Those walkways are incredibly busy too! Folks would be walking over your feet. Why would you put benches OUTSIDE the Park, aside from the bus stops nearer to the Aves.? Can anybody verify that?
IMO the three-some image has been constructed to make it appear the grandparents still had a relationship with obama...which I believe to have broken down. The background trees may have been added. The wall certainly appears to have been tampered with.
Nothing is as it seems...
Now here's a shot of one of the sidewalks OUTSIDE the Park. I don't spot any benches there.
The gays at Trinity were murdered for a reason, just like the guy that was dealing with the passport breach. Its the Chicago way doncha know> Could you elaborate?
BhO actually met Hal in California while a student there. He followed BO to NYC. It is at this time that BhO started wearing a ring that looks like a wedding band. I have more information somewhere, if you are interested.
You haven’t been reading the gazillion threads about 0bama on FR for more than a year?
Hi mojitojoe:
As BP2 in post 222 here has it, residence shared with SS was 339 East 94th St. Im sorry I havent culled through his postings completely here but was just pointing out that the old thread you adroitly pulled up with post #177 by wct911 and youve linked here in this thread has 2nd paragraph as:
Also, the big O was not sharing an apartment with his paki play-mate when the photo was taken. The Times cites the apartment as the West Side one and they bunked together on the East Side.

We are not sure it IS Central Park, but it is often used with the other picture in articles.
Also, have you seen our discussion of the floating hand on BHO’s shoulder in this bench picture?
PhilDragoo took BHO out of the picture, deducing he was never there in the first place (See post #312 for just the grandparents)
In both the bench pictures (with & wthout BHO) the wall to the left of the bench seems not to fit with the wall to the right of the bench the whole way to the ground....
In the final analysis, however, I guess it is not worthwhile to pursue because answers would not seem to advance our research.

Also, Maggief: I checked Dreams. There is no mention grandparents visiting NYC that I could find. BHO says Stanley Ann & Maya came to NYC for the first summer. They lived with him & Siddiqi for a few days & then moved to an apartment on Park Avenue.
“They stayed with Sadik and me for a few nights, then moved to a condominium on Park Avenue that a friend of my mothers had offered them while she was away. That summer I had found a job clearing a construction site on the Upper West Side, so my mother and sister spent most of their days exploring the city on their own.”
Did you read the Sinclair book? ...If not do so. Since reading it, I've been hunting for a comment I read earlier (I thought from the police report) that the last number dialed on Young's cell phone was to BO....Wish I could find it and confirm it.
Now, those type of walls of cut stone do look familiar. That other type of ugly masonry wall I don’t remember on the interior of the Park.
I recall some of the discussion but have not read every post on those threads.
“then moved to a condominium on Park Avenue that a friend of my mothers had offered them while she was away.”
Park Avenue? Who is “she?”
Looks like you’ve found the location, now look at the space beside obama and Madelyn’s leg...why is there no shadow there?
I took that quote directly out of Dreams (which I had downloaded from somewhere to be able to search; I have Dreams download url in one of the BHO threads)
The SHE is never identified — nor is the exact length of time Stanley Ann & Maya spent in NYC.
What is the location of your photo Maggief? That does look like the area—with a rebuilt wall.
FRED NERKS: And look behind Stanley’s elbow; why doesn’t that part of the wall look like stone; looks like camouflage — would shadows or light distortion do that? The sidewalk is very bright beside the bench.
