Please post your updates from D.C. and from news reports here as well as your photos of the day.
Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.
Photos and video taken by This Ain'tHell taken in daylight before the bulk of the crowd showed can be viewed here.
Free Republic 9/11 Candlelight Vigil from Washington DC

The crowd size at link http://interactive.foxnews.com/livestream/live.html?chanId=5 appears rather small. :-(
Where are you going to hear the speakers??
Louisiana pastor gave me chills too. Simply awesome.
The “good” Balwin brother up now!
Noticing some of the liberal nut jobs are posting on Twitter...
Really?! Wow! Making up for his brothers’ Liberalism.
Yeah, I don't get it -- whats up?
stephen Baldwin is speaking now (per Tweet)
Sad that I couldn't be there (we're about an hour and a half drive from DC) but hubby and I along with our youngest son are sick with the sinus/cold crud that's been going around. Loving the pictures I've been seeing so far. GIVE THEM HELL FOR US!
These # counts are all over the place.
If I were Cavuto I’d be pissed as well. Imagine getting kicked to the curb because of some murdering, drunken slob?
Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery.

Thousands march to US Capitol to protest spending
By NAFEESA SYEED, Associated Press Writer Nafeesa Syeed, Associated Press Writer 9 mins ago
WASHINGTON Thousands of people marched to the U.S. Capitol on Saturday, carrying signs with slogans such as “Obamacare makes me sick” as they protested the president’s health care plan and what they say is out-of-control spending.
The line of protesters spread across Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the capitol, according to the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency. People were chanting “enough, enough” and “We the People.” Others yelled “You lie, you lie!” and “Pelosi has to go,” referring to California congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.
Demonstrators waved U.S. flags and held signs reading “Go Green Recycle Congress” and “I’m Not Your ATM.” Men wore colonial costumes as they listened to speakers who warned of “judgment day” Election Day 2010.
(snip)
A small turn out only emboldens Obama and his brownshirts.
Thank you for Fox link
it doesn’t seem to be live
am i missing something
Where are you getting the live events, preacher speaking, etc.?
A piece of my heart is on the mall in Washington right now, but the rest of me is sitting here in Texas watching the blessed rain.
God speed to all of you who are there!
Me too.
We were going to book a campsite near DC and go.
Dad dumped his motorcycle last week and had surgery on Friday.
God knew we wouldn’t make it.
Do NOT let your heart worry ... the media will NOT be able to ignore this, for if they do, they will at their own peril.
Your live camera view is not working, FYI

Heart swelling with pride for this patriotic stand! I had planned to be with my freeper brothers and sisters in DC, but unexpected circumstances prevented me. Wish I could be there! Prayers up for this historic moment, for Glenn Beck, but most importantly, for the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of patriots in DC, and the millions around the country supporting them. We did not come clawing and scratching out of the dark abyss of tyranny, to sit quietly while an usurper plunges us over the cliff of socialism.
Don’t tread on me!
I would be one of those. I am watching FOX ALL day, participating as I can. And cheering them on. Glenn Beck is going to have a special covering it, I will wait for his report as to a tally.
FOX is carrying it live from 1 - 3 and Glenn Beck will be anchoring... you can watch all the action at blinkotv.com, tikilive.com, freetubetv.net just look for the FOX news link.
>>What ever the total—there are enough NOT to be ignored.<<
You mean by the MSM?
They ignore the Right to Life March every year.
What channel are you watching?
CNN has had the best crowd shots. Their aerial shots of the crowds are awesome. Fox street-level shots make it look like a Sunday picnic.
C-span will cover the event live beginning at 1 pm eastern

Isn’t it a junction of three streets where they are at? If they are still filing in the part where the Washington Monument is would seem empty compared to others.
I am there in prayer and I know you are too.
Fox New interactive live stream of 912 Rally
I'm watching it now and I tested the link again before posting, it's working for me...
Hey Washngton Politiclowns, feel that? That is the earth shifting in DC as Atlas Starts to Shrug!
Are you logged in?
WANTED to go.
TRIED to figure out a way to make it happen.
Didn’t work out.
My body is here, but my HEART, PRAYERS, and SPIRIT are marching with you today!!!
WHERE ARE you guys seeing this? At Live stream I’m looking at only has the crowd marching that it.
This is just killing me — sitting here. But I’m kept busy reading the posts, and clicking all the channels to see coverage. The live pictures are exciting! Haven’t seen any mass produced signs yet! I pray there is no infiltration from troublemakers. The DC police won’t have problems with the Tea Party crowds, but I hope they can spot the infiltrators.
Hopefully heel-kicking in the near future!! LOL!
Have they blocked off a side of the street there to make it look smaller than it is?
They are moving away from camera.
Take it elsewhere. This thread is about the Tea Party March.
Perhaps John Galt has arrived in D.C. We can only dream...
There are hundreds of thousands of people in attendance. Pennsylvania Ave is packed from the Capitol to freedom plaza. The Metro is packed like the 4th of July. Unlike the commie gatherings the there is no sounds of drums or the smell of patchouli.
The Crowd is great, 99% of the signs they are carrying are homemade. There are a lot of Gadsden flags and a lot of U.S. flags. The people are in very high spirits with their spirits being buoyed by seeing so many fellow Americans stand up.
An AP photographer was spotted and you can see a lot of MSM trucks setting up for live feeds.
Crowds are filling the Mall from the w front of the Capitol past 3rd street and people are still pouring in.
The best spotted sign:
Bill Green, recycled Reds in Congress
Best scene:
The crowd was passing in front of the museum. The 1st Amendment is engraved on the building which was a magnificent background for throngs of people taking to the street to petition Congress with their voice.
fox news live is playing a song from elton john..
