Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.

the gal I spoke to here in Michigan that organized 3 buses out of Madison Hgts had stated that she needed a count of attendants so that there would be enough porta potties to cover the event in DC. She was suppose to forward this info to the DC police.

Yup, Beck will be there. I hope Fox shows reruns all weekend of it b/c I don’t TIVO and I won’t be home today to see it. I’ll be at my local Tea Party protest. So far, the news coverage on this has been disappointing. They should be broadcasting from DC today.

Looking at the Trafficland RoofCam, it appears that the crowd now stretches along Pennsylvania Avenue past the Reagan/Commerce Building and past the cross street at the western edge of the Old Post Office Building (12th St and heading toward 11th) Freedom Plaza is at 14th.

That's a whole lot of people!

The Fox Business block opened with a split screen. At least 60% of the screen is a live cam of the Tea Party. It’s great. I’m so jealous I’m not there!
