I would suspect that the RAT Senators that voted NAY all claim to be pro-gun (believe it or not, the Socialist Sanders was first elected to Congress by running as the pro-gun alternative to the RINO incumbent) and didn’t want to face any flak for voting for Sunstein.
BARLF’s theory regarding the two AR Senators voting against Sunstein because of his extremist animal-rights statements (with Tyson being such a large employer in the state) also makes sense.
Boxer and Byrd were absent (Byrd was probably in the hospital), so we can’t read anything into that.
Thanks. I forgot to put Collins on my list of Republican yeas.
sure wish Snowe and Collins would leave the Republican party and just join the DEMOS !!!!
“I just hand fed my dog his dinner. Told him tomorrow we are off to Bloomingdales to buy a bed for him.”
You had better stay on his good side. I hear e has a dream team of lawyers on his speed dial just waiting for you to slip up.
Sunstein wrote a book (one of several) called “The Second Bill of Rights” - quite the eye opener.
Today is the beginning of the end of free speech on the Internet.
Darker times ahead, IMO.
Oh, is Bloomie’s having a big mattress sale?
****This will end up being among the greatest BUBARs Obama ever makes during his short time in office.****
Hey it works for me...Baracked Up Beyond All Repair.
Can anyone explain why Hatch and Bennett of Utah voted “yea?” Utah used to be a conservative state but those two “Republicans” have been voting like ultra-libs lately.
What the heck is going on with these politicians from Utah?
I thought Utah was a conservative state?
Actually, I think that’s a great new expression.
BUBAR - Baracked Up Beyond All Recognition!
UTAH, you have some work to do for next year’s elections!
The word used to be ‘senility’ for such worn out legislators, but with the current crop of McCain led rinos is is more ‘spinelessility’.
Ugh Ohio. Sherrod Brown is no surprise but I was hoping that Sunstein was even a bit much for Voinovich. Guess not. And I didn’t think he could be more of a RINO.
Oddly enough, Bernie Sanders voted Nay.

That should tell you something right there.
a BIG nasty
Thank you all who sent the names. Saw them in another thread, but it’s good that they are repeated for everyone to see!
These lawmakers are sick.
Why would they ever confirm Sunstein?
It’s beyond me...................
What GOP senators voted for this gun rights traitor?

My dog just looked up at me and said: “So where the f___ is your original long-form Birth Certificate!”
