Being an advocate of free speech, I'm not particularly offended by anything he said. One has an absolute right to show the world that he is a total knee-jerk bigoted idiot.
What really offends me is The Big Lie - the planned deliberate act of organizing and coördinating what can only be regarded as a deliberate conspiratorial attempt to say foul things on out behalf, then claim that WE said them.
As living, breathing Fascists, they are using a page from the Hitler playbook. Smuggle your special forces troops into Poland, dress them in Polish uniforms, and have them attack The Fatherland.
It worked then. We simply cannot allow it to work now.
“Blaming Republicans” refers to blaming them for losing New Orleans.
Too bad you bought the lie of the DNC. Republicans didn’t lose New Orleans. New Orleans had been dead and decaying for decades. The veneer was just stripped away after Katrina. The criminally incompetent Democrat governor, the bumbling mayor and the citizens of NOLA who year in and year out voted in the most corrupt and incompetent people to “govern” their city are the one’s who killed New Orleans.
For the record, New Orleans had a trial run 10 months earlier during Hurricane Ivan. The dingbat governor managed to screw that up too. I am a life long resident of Louisiana who lives on the gulfcoast. Hurricanes are a part of life here. I have dealt with three big hurricanes since Katrina. Believe me when I say that the majority of people here know just who was to blame and it wasn’t the Republicans. Bobby Jindal won the primary by a large margin. Had he been elected instead of Blanco in 2003 there wouldn’t have been the disaster the world saw because he knew what to do and laid it out during the gubernatorial debates.
Hmmm. Dunno how I missed that one.

Excellent points/metaphor. Nor can we join them in their Nazi tactics in any way. We cannot become like these extremists. We need to hold always hold high Principles and Truth. These will/must *always* prevail.

Who else would need 'a NATional Civilian Community Corps, as big as, as well funded as and as well armed as the military'?
Can't use the real military as they are sworn to uphold the Constitution.
The NAT-Cs won't be. Smart money says that if they swear any oath, it will be one of personal loyalty to the Leader...

The Daily Kos is scoring a lot of political points against Free Republic with the race and children cards. It was not our finest hour. But just how saintly and pure of thought are the Kossacks? KOS Here’s the original Kos diary from Thursday that got the ball rolling against FR.
The Kos diarist who posted the piece, Halfrican, closed his report on the FR thread with this wish for Freepers and their children:

I ask a simple question - yet to be answered by the thread’s author. Do you see a problem with that PghBaldy? Are questions forbadden - gracious man, are you serious?!
The post from the “t shirt thread” that is quoted a lot (I googled the phrase with the “this is not the America I want representin’ my peeps”) and honestly that doesn’t sound like anything that a Freeper (real one) would write.
