America's Joan of Arc
Me | 7/3/04 | Self

Posted on 07/03/2009 6:08:42 PM PDT by jokyfo

On July 26th, Palin begins her long, heroic quest for the Presidency to save the Republic from the Socialist dogs trying to bring her down.

We are in trouble people and our "Joan of Arc" has taken up the challenge!

RUN SARAH RUN!!!!!!

Yes . I’ve said the same thing on several other threads .

I really don’t see the US ever turning things around . The election of Obama spelled the end of America . Call me a doom and gloomer , but that’s how I see it . When the media and Rats can make someone like Sarah thrown in the towel , we are toast . Accept it and go on with your life as best you can .

Jeff, I hope you are right. The fear she made them feel was real, for certain.

But I'm very fearful that she's had enough. I mean, what normal person would put up with it?

One thing for sure, if she's really out of the game, war is a lot closer.

I listened to her whole speech...twice. She does not sound at all like a person out of the fight. To the contrary, IMHO, she sounds like someone about to jump into it with both feet.

Geez, your on board for how many hours?

More than 8,736 hours, and less than 8,760 hours. jokyfo Since Jul 2, 2008

Now wipe that egg off your face, it's unbecoming. Besides, it'll attract insects.

"Sarah is now in a position to show leadership in a leaderless Republican party. "

That's my sense too. Whether that leads to a presidential run time will tell. I don't see this as an outgrowth of personal ambition but as a commitment to her beloved nation.

We’ll just consider her that voice crying in the wilderness that people should wake the heck up and see how far America has strayed from her path.

Banking, housing and now health care were not sectors that just happened to be in trouble. They appear to be cleverly plotted to put states’ sovereignty at stake. I’m baffled to see how it all just happened to be broken when a ‘black’ president governs.

A small wonder I was impressed when I didn’t see her use a teleprompter and hear her speak so heartily from her core. I hope she keeps that fire in her belly.

I really don’t see the US ever turning things around.

The Republican party as presently constituted is certainly not going to turn things around even if they manage to grab the House in '10. Their specialty is to go exactly where the Democrats lead, while dragging their feet and proceeding at a slightly slower pace.

Your posts always scare me, because I come across them 5 years later and you always turn out to be prescient.

Why do you think war is closer.........

Why do you think war is closer.........

Because the political system that fills the offices at Washington has been captured by forces irredeemably hostile to its purpose and its design.

The Palin phenomenon was a test of whether or not the system retained enough suppleness to be changed by an outsider.

It doesn't. The savage nature of the attack on Palin used techniques never before seen in this country, culminating in Letterman's two minute hate routine.

OK, if they won't even tolerate opposition to the extent of a VP nominee on a ticket designed to lose because they are THAT afraid of the People, then what follows is practically inevitable - especially in a land where so many have died, so much blood has been spilled, to secure the Blessings of Liberty for Ourselves and our Posterity.

I don't think we are going down without a fight.
