Michael Jackson was working on a song about climate change in the days before his death, his friend Deepak Chopra has disclosed.

Writing on The Huffington Post, the US news and commentary website, Chopra said that Jackson had called him in an "upbeat, excited mood" on Tuesday.

"The voice message said, 'I've got some really good news to share with you.' He was writing a song about the environment, and he wanted me to help informally with the lyrics, as we had done several times before," he said.

"When I tried to return his call, however, the number was disconnected. (Terminally spooked by his treatment in the press, he changed his phone number often.)

"So I never got to talk to him, and the music demo he sent me lies on my bedside table as a poignant symbol of an unfinished life."

How pathetic is the world press? Surely there are more pressing issues in the world today than Jacko’s death?

I think it's safe to say it's finished.

A climate change song??? I went from not caring about him to being glad he’s dead. Yes, that’s mean, but I’ve had it with him. Did the chorus include the words ‘cap’ and ‘trade’? Sorry again, fed up.

Which is better for the environment?

To be buried or cremated?

Wonder how it was supposed to go.

But I am not
Under cosmetics bold
I am growing old and cold
...?”

Oh Lord you are probably right. I still am shocked that his death is the ONLY news that is on all the news networks. I mean I guess he gave us a few good songs in 1983, but come on, he has not had another hit since then. He was a Freak!!!!

The environmentally aware tune, about tempaerature change, was tentatively titled “I think I’m Reverting to Room Temperature”

Definitely burial. Cremation would require a carbon credit.
