The kind of parents looking for a tasty settlement from a very rich man. Never underestimate what people will do for money.

He rushed back as soon as he heard FNC was going 24/7 on MJ.

Al Sharpton (speaking live now on CNN): “’We are the World’ would not have happened without Michael Jackson.”

Ok, we get it, you’re dancing on his grave. Give it a rest now.

No, I'm embracing his victims, and weeping with them, feeling empathy for their suffering and their "closure".

If you could call it that.

You seem to think I'm taking pleasure in Jackson's demise. I am not.

But I will not blindly celebrate his life either, as it seems some are wont to do.

He passed out cups of "Jesus Juice" molested little boys!!

You tell me what there is to celebrate? Or to dance about?

My last words on this to you.

May God have mercy on his soul. HIS will be done.

I thought I heard the rehearsals were going on and the concerts were sold out.

He had talent. That is not in dispute.

He was really really weired. I don't think that is in disupte, either. He was almost a Marilyn Monroe kind of icon. He knocked Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon, and anyone else who decided to die this week right out of the newspaper.

Should this be front page news? Check your newspaper tomorrow morning. I'm guessing they'll say yes.

I sure hope this isn’t true about Jeff. He was a friend of my husband’s when we lived in Hollywood. One the best times we ever had was at a Halloween party he threw.

NBC was going to do a tribute to Farrah Fawcett tonight, bet that gets pre-empted now.

Elvis said Jesus is King. We idolize entertainers way too much.

One was a very class act even in the last two years ... the other I will not waste any words .... wasted human flesh.

Was Elvis a pedophile as well?

I don't know, but this kind of creeps me out.

Elvis and Priscilla met in 1959 at a party in Bad Nauheim, Germany during his stay in the army. She was 14 years old at the time. They quickly began a romantic relationship and were frequently together until Elvis left Germany in 1960.

That needed to be said. Thanks for the courage to do so. I’m sickened by the majority of comments on this thread and embarassed for those who don’t have the human decency to refrain from turning a tragedy into a spectacle.
