I have heard it explained by a fellow listener that Rush is like conservatism with training wheels. He's good for the fence sitters or those new to the idea of government fiscal responsibility or the heavily leftwing biased media, but after that it's sort of preaching to the choir. And it's mild mannered enough that you can listen to it in a corporate cubicle without getting a harshly worded memo from the boss. Savage grabbed the reins and took it to the next plateau, incorporating the homosexual agenda, theology, family values, and other topics not specifically “political” in nature.

I had a hand-me-down ‘79 Ford Courier pickup (Mazda) that was originally orange... it had an Earl paintjob, painted brown. You could still see orange on parts of the bed/cab.

Great Philip Berg interview this morning during 2nd hour of Jesse Peterson’s show, this Berg guy is a pitbull, wish Savage would get him back on, Rush, Hannity, Beck, O’Reilly, Fox News will never have him on, guess he smells too much like Savage.

One funny comment that Jesse quipped this morning about Chastity Bono’s impending sex change “If I had a momma like Cher, I would want a sex change too,” ROFL!

I saw an interesting website awhile back describing automobile painting with a roller on a budget. Sounds amusing and easy to dismiss as a crank, but the technique was described in detail, and the results were astonishing. Labor intensive and requires many coats with a thinned out paint with fine grit wet sandings between coats, but the results are impressive and durable.

Doing man’s work, sweating in my garage somewhere in the upper 90’s with 90% humitiy. Pulling the engine out of my 86 chrysler. I rebuilt this engine in 07 but probably only put 500 miles on it. Damn rear main seal started leaking. I guess while I am at it I will replace the wrist pins, should quiet it down a bit.

Paint Your Car With Rustoleum Do you have a fun car that you just KNOW will go faster with a brand new paint job? This method is based on the idea of using a foam paint roller to put many layers of Rustoleum on your car. Except, I used a professional airgun and only 2 coats. The result? Pretty dang good, for the money. Why? So why Rustoleum? Well, on the internet you can find people who rolled it on, and the cars look pretty good. But most of all, you can get a quart for under $5 at any hardware store, whereas automotive paint can be 20-50 times that much.

Friends, we should not fall into the trap that some of the haters would have us do. Limbaugh’s fine, Hannity’s fine, Levin’s fine, and Savage is fine. All offer something the others don’t; combined, they’re all important voices for Conservatism.

Go Mitt!Well that's the same sentiment shared by your boy Checkpants, only difference is you left out one of his other choices, Guliani, thats where Savage parts with Checkpants cause he feels Guliani is a total fraud.
Lormand also thinks highly of both Romney and Guliani, a sentiment I'm doubt shared by you or the owner of this forum.

Are you taking a break from defending Weiner by trying to get us to quarrel regarding Guiliani and Romney?
When someone resorts to putting thoughts and words into other peoples heads just to deflect from their own un-defendable positions, then the debate is long over.
I think that Guliani and Romney are intellectual giants compared to Weiner, but that is not saying much about Guliani or Romney.
Hell, Weiner is far more dumb than even Obama regarding everything OTHER than herbal medicine.

"Thats why I dont visit other Savage threads. If I spoke my mind to the haters, what I really think about them, Id get a Zot in about 2 minutes." I hate Weiner like I hate the plague. Here is your chance to speak your mind to a "hater" of Weiner. The only time I ever hit the "abuse" button is when the poster brings my wife and kids into the discussion so feel free to express yourself.
I'm looking forward to hear from someone sanctimoniously against "hate" who is also a fan of America's premier talk show hate monger (unless you are Moonbeam Brown, Gavin Newsome and other lefties).
Give it your best shot, then expect a response.

What a beautiful tribute.. It brought tears.
To: lormand; Number57
Here is your chance to speak your mind to a "hater" of Weiner. Why should anyone dignify your self-admitting hatred with a response as if you're even credible anymore?
Misery loves company, all you want to do is to elicit hatred back sort of like 'spread the wealth' strategy, don't go for the bait Numbers, he has no other objective, Lormand's coming from a dark, dark, place.......
To: divine_moment_of_facts
Yes, it’s even just as poignant when you watch it through the prism of what Usurper Obama and his henchmen are doing to our country, repeat OUR country, not his, for we are now suffering another 9-11.
To: whatisthetruth
"Why should anyone dignify your self-admitting hatred with a response as if you're even credible anymore?" The premise of your question is as twisted as your love for a bi-polar purse swinging faux conservative from San Francisco.
Why are you not posting on today's Weiner lover thread? Do you not want more than one person posting on it today?
I am giving the brave Weiner fan the opportunity to do what he says he can't do on any other thread. However, since you are trying to run cover for him, I expect you to further embarrass yourself with moronic platitudes towards a fading liberals who tried making money off of Conservative listeners. When the Conservative listeners ran away, all we have left are you and other totally confused individuals.

However, since you are trying to run cover for himYou mean the way you attempted to cover for your butt buddy Checkpant's endorsement of Romney and Guliani? The 2 people you and him have such "high regard" for, the two "intellectual heavyweights" you so admire?
Of course since your boy Hush wanted Romney as a V.P. pick along with Savage, I don't expect you to chime in on any of the Romney bashing threads and remind those FReepers of that.
To: whatisthetruth; Checkers; Snurple
When Checkers, Guliani and Romney commit fratricide against their own side, I will tear into them with the same zeal as I do to that fake conservative Michael Weiner.
Let me know when you can focus back to defending Weiner instead of resorting to diversion and projection.

My focus is your transparent hypocrisy and selective condemnation on a issue you ‘pretend’ to champion. You attack Savage as a ‘faux conservative’ yet sing the praises of Romney and Guliani. Your credibility is shot.
To: whatisthetruth
"You attack Savage as a faux conservative yet sing the praises of Romney and Guliani. Your credibility is shot." You can't be as dumb as you pretend to be. I know you think you have found some loop hole soft spot on me, but you and anyone else can roll back the tape on my supposed support for Guliani and Romney. I'll help you if you would like.
