It would be interesting if they found the black box.

They have to find the flight data recorder. It has the answers.

At least Drudge is on it.

Matt Drudge is ALWAYS on it. If the MSM wasn't smoking crack and believing ALL news was about their chosen one (or wording their articles to meet the anti-conservative, pro-whatever the chosen one wants pandered to the public that day), they'd be the ones telling us this news. They are inept and incapable of being trustworthy news sources. Kudos once again to Drudge.

With the way he’s been acting lately, I wouldn’t be surprised if Barry blamed the Joooooooooooz!

if that is the case, the media will NEVER report it

The media will blame global warming for causing the thunderstorms that supposedly took down the plane.

The bomb threat was made against the same airline (AF) but in a different city (Buenos Aires, Argentina). I am guessing they were checking the airline’s response to the threat without giving away the actual location of their planned operation (Rio).

It sure would. Read an article that said a French small sub was on the way which means it could go down to recover it.

“It was a victim of bad weather. The place where Air France was over the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone. The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), appears as a band of clouds, usually thunderstorms, that circle the globe near the equator. The solid band of clouds may extend for many hundreds of miles and is sometimes broken into smaller line segments. The ITCZ follows the sun in that the position varies seasonally. It moves north in the northern summer and south in the northern winter. Right now the sun is over the equator causing this bad weather. This is the area where hurricanes are born.”

Yes Absolutely!

Yet, strange why a commercial aircraft would transverse this fully known zone of super bad weather, as other aircraft have done daily, and fall from the sky, without even a peep from the pilots.

I guess that we’ll have to wait on the black-box recovey to realy know - as much as our government wants us to know!

There will be cover-up!

They will. . France has asked the US military to use its network of spy satellites and listening stations to help find an Air France jet that disappeared over the Atlantic, defence ministry officials said Monday.

Does make you wonder when you see how far the debris field was.

Yes, it does. I saw somewhere that there are two debris fields about 35-40 miles apart. That pattern suggests the possibility of two aircraft and thus a mid-air collision.

Has anyone heard if ships are at the debris fields yet?

I think we can trust the French and Brazilians to not cover it up.

Leastwise more than we can trust our own government.

It was bad luck that they were hit by lightning in a very sensitive area Again, we need the flight data recorder because everything is just speculation.

Of course the first thing my Hubby asked me was “Has anyone taken credit yet?”

Let's think about this, though. Are there any logical reasons why a terrorist group would not want to be discovered? At least immediately?

For a bomb to go off on an airplane precisely where and when it did would be the perfect crime if remaining hidden, or under the radar so to speak, was the point.

If a group were well funded and networked enough, I could very well see a series of frightening "mishaps" occuring without sufficient explanation, and then the group coming out much later saying: "we did all this, and you had no idea." That would be much more frightening.

Also, a couple years ago, wasn't there talk of them wanting to do something like this to an aircraft in the Atlantic?

To be sure, it's not likely terrorism. But, as others mentioned, when terrorism is ruled out before they even know what happened, I get skeptical.

"I also thought I read that the U.S. had been asked for help. I don’t know what King Zero’s response was, though."

It's reported that he apologized, thanked islam, and then sent a check for 35 billion dollars.

I agree. The plane was said to be flying through bad turbulence. Planes always do that. And that the thunderheads were extremely large around the plane. As if planes haven’t flown through large thunderheads with lightning before. If they were so vulnerable, there would be a lot more disappearing aircraft over the oceans. I flew from LA to Syndney once and we went over a cyclone near Fiji. It was rough with lightning all around. And that was 25 yrs ago. I would think the technology is much better now.

In the slight chance it was terrorism, the only way we’ll know is if it’s determined by France or another country, or from a group taking responsibility.

Otherwise, our government won’t ‘go there’ - terrorists aren’t the bad guys anymore. /s.
