More than one in five of all children in the United States are Hispanic – a significant jump from 29 years ago when only about 9 percent of children were Latino, according to a Pew Hispanic report released today.

The study, called "Latino Children: A majority are U.S.-Born offspring of Immigrants," states that more than half of the nation's 16 million Latino children are now "second generation," which means they are the U.S.-born children of at least one foreign-born parent. In California the number of second generation Latino children is 62 percent.

That is true....and will only grow worse.

That is....unless we remove all repeat, ALL the illegal aliens from this country, then seal the border so that only those entering this country legally are able to.

Then the ratio drops back to one in 100....still too high, but where it should be.

And they're all in school dragging their classmates down and costing citizen tax dollars to rise because they need special classes and extra personnel to handle their discipline problems.

Yeah, that Hispanic vote is completely unimportant.

That's sarcasm if you can't tell.

And by 2050, one in three residents of this country will be Hispanic.

Why is that a horrifying number? Children are children.

It’s fine with me as long as they are citizens and their parents are here legally. I have lots of Hispanic friends. One thing tho, can they finally all agree on what to be called? It seems to change from one trendy thing to another. Or, how about a better idea? How about we stop thinking of Americans as an ethnicity and just think of them as Americans? Wouldn’t THAT destroy the Democratic party.

Wow. I had no idea it was spreading so quickly. I’ll check my son for it when I get home.

Thanks for the heads up!

I could care less what race they are, as long as they adopt American values and appreciate living in this country, I say, ‘Welcome’.

But if they want to be catered to solely on the basis of their race, that’s where I have a problem.

Somewhere between 2025 and 2035, the United States will cease to be a nation where White northern Europeans will have self-rule.

The first reaction many of you will have, is to say, “So what?”

Folks, if you can take a look at this nation and not understand how one sided things are already, then your head is just not in the game.

Look at the trouble there is now related to race. Just imagine what it will be like when the race baiters are in charge.

“Why is that a horrifying number?”

Because America will become North Mexico.

Nonsense. We take in 1.2 million legal immigrants a year, about 70% are Hispanic. And the birthrate for Hispanics is double the general population. We could cut off all illegal immigration tomorrow and we would still have a huge Hispanic population. One in three residents of California is Hispanic today.

Unless the life chances of children raised by single mothers suddenly improve, the explosive growth of the U.S. Hispanic population over the next couple of decades does not bode well for American social stability. Hispanic immigrants bring near–Third World levels of fertility to America, coupled with what were once thought to be First World levels of illegitimacy. (In fact, family breakdown is higher in many Hispanic countries than here.) Nearly half of the children born to Hispanic mothers in the U.S. are born out of wedlock, a proportion that has been increasing rapidly with no signs of slowing down. Given what psychologists and sociologists now know about the much higher likelihood of social pathology among those who grow up in single-mother households, the Hispanic baby boom is certain to produce more juvenile delinquents, more school failure, more welfare use, and more teen pregnancy in the future.

The problem is when immigrants don’t want to become a part of the culture that made the country great,

and bring with them the culture that made their country a shithole that they had to escape from,

and try to establish that culture here.

Yes, Obamomination you are transparent.

This is WHY he wants gender idenity candidate, Judge Sonia Sotomayor - th eHispanic female with quite the mouth:

A 2004 opinion she joined also cited as precedent that “the right to possess a gun is clearly not a fundamental right.”

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/05/28/sotomayors-gun-control-positions-prompt-conservative-backlash/

Conservatives are focusing on a speech Ms. Sotomayor delivered at the University of California at Berkeley law school, where she said, “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

...

“Imagine a judicial nominee said ‘my experience as a white man makes me better than a Latina woman.’

Wouldn’t they have to withdraw?” asked former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on his Web site. “New racism is no better than old racism.”

...

“We’re all extremely pleased at how the first 24 hours went,” said Sen. Charles Schumer (D., N.Y.), who has been assigned to chaperone the Bronx-born judge through her confirmation.
