And there used to be a casino in Jericho that catered to the Israelis. In a sane world this is how things should be. But the casino is long gone, and this village and its shopping opportunities will disappear too.

It's so "occupied" that the schoolchilren there learn about bombs and destroying Israel. (Unless they mean occupied by fanatics.)
