only reason it's here is to prove later (probably tomorrow) that it was NOT an "assault weapon", AK-47, or whatever else the gun grabbers will say it was.
Nope it was a high powered military quality sniper rifle (okay this sentence is sarcasm)
Sunday’s killings were the latest in a series of high-profile but apparently unrelated rampages in March, including the killings of 10 people by an Alabama man who was then killed by police. At a southern Illinois church, a man shot and killed the pastor and stabbed two parishioners, and a 17-year-old in Germany killed 15 people in two small towns before dying in a shootout with police.
from CNN.
Columbine ‘happened’ two days before an important gun loosening law was to be voted on in CO.
Social meltdown. Culture of death.
Prayers!
Just Google “murder rampage”.
There is many more that’s happened recently
And they’re happening in small sleepy little “safe” towns.
And there is not a single case of gang-initiation in there. What I see is a lot of people with personal grudges who went on rampages as a result of feeling betrayed. All of it was personal. against some significant other in their lives. None of it was because some gang demanded they do it.
And none of them seem to be because they were angry at Obama’s failed promises. More like their spouse’s.
...the doors are locked and each individual has to be personally let in.
They are careful, and I can't imagine someone with an 'arsenal' could get in unless he shot his way in.
Was he wearing an ACORN shirt?
Also maternity hospitals, sadly enough! Do you remember hearing/reading about a gunman going into an Alta, Utah maternity hospital? This had to have been about 10 or 15 years ago. A nurse got killed walking to her car outside, she may have been the only one killed. Thankfully, none of the babies or mothers were killed or wounded, I believe!
This guy seemed to have an issue with the doctor who did a tube-tying op. on his wife without him knowing. I guess they were breaking up. He temporarily holed up in there, hoping to catch the wife’s doctor, but he wasn’t there, thank goodness! I guess the wife may have talked him into giving up, if I’m remembering this story right.
It was horrifying! They made a movie about it with actor Harry Hamlin (sp.?)playing the gunman. I don’t remember the other people in it, though. This makes it churches, schools, hospitals and playgrounds. Like someone said up the thread, nothing seems to be sacred anymore!
I just got home from my job at a nursing and rehab center. God bless those poor souls and their families.
That looks like a Remington model 597 in .22 lr. It’s a semi auto for all those in rio linda.
Awww... now that’s sweet! Bless your heart and her’s! I’ll bet she enjoys the visit as well as the food; she has something to look forward to!
Her family is in my prayers, as well as the families of everyone involved.
Compared to major city gang banging its a drop in the bucket.
I was not referring to common crime, but these senseless mass murders, of the totally innocent, where people are murdered *without* motive or gain.
Im confused.
If you don't know the difference between gang crime, bank robberies, and common murder, and senseless mass murders of dozens at a time? ie: Virginia Tech, and the lastest mass murders in the tiny rural towns of Carthage North Carolina, and Samson Alabama.
What kind of a media does this country have when thrill killing gang members are rarely reported on anymore
They report about gang murders and other murders all the time.
In case you're still confused, the fact is common murders are not as big as news as opposed to when some church member, student, or some small town citizen, suddenly, for no damn reason whatsoever, murders a dozen or more innocent people, for no reason at all.
That gets people's attention, given the fact that many times after these mass murders, it's discovered the suspect was a nice, quiet guy, with no criminal record, etc.
That really gets people's attention.
If you're still confused as to why, I can't help you.
It's not a tragedy, and it's not excused by most people, or the law. Gangsters and criminals kill people. that's what they do. Are you surprised by this?
As I said, what really gets peoples attention, is when the hard working Joe, with no criminal record, the good neighbor, goes out and kills everyone in his church, nursing home, or whatever.
This is not a hard concept to understand, in regards to what gets peoples attention and makes big news.
