AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Or, the ones with a 401 look at their investments.
It will really hit them when inflation goes through the roof and it will the way they are just printing money. Bread - $5, milk - $5, case of beer - $50.
Como estas hoy?
When it hits 5000, I guess I’ll get back in.
Did you notice the Franklin Raines mention?
Yea it’s scary out there and getting worse.
$10.00 to file my damned taxes. Screw it...I won’t file then. I have to pay to pay the government....How screwed up is this country?????

i want to find the video where clinton says the republicans should have ‘resisted him better’
I wish I could believe that. Imagine how deluded, fearful, and dependent most Americans will be in 2011. Imagine too that he’s extended his reach via ACORN, amnesty, convicts voting, 50% unionization, healthcare delivery, control of his the message of his opponents, etc. Image (as it is now) that he owns all three branches of government, the media, higher education, unions, lower education, the banks, Hollywood, and so on. Now imagine 10% of the electorate from 2008 not voting at all. No - I can see him easily re-elected.
OBastard is letting the market tank so that he can take credit when it comes back. - MHO
You read this right?
I’m afraid that before any thing can be done peacefully through the election process, we’re going to be finished off by these fools. I’ve told all my kids to be prepared for raging inflation within a year.
From Post 39:
Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more of expensive goods, houses and technology, pushing them to take more and more expensive credits, until their debt becomes unbearable. The unpaid debt will lead to bankruptcy of banks, which will have to be nationalized, and the State will have to take the road which will eventually lead to communism.

Washington (AP) - Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood says he wants to consider taxing motorists based on how many miles they drive rather than how much gasoline they burn — an idea that has angered drivers in some states where it has been proposed.
Gasoline taxes that for nearly half a century have paid for the federal share of highway and bridge construction can no longer be counted on to raise enough money to keep the nation’s transportation system moving, LaHood said in an interview with The Associated Press.

The Realtor told them that the buyers qualified for some govt program.
I’d guess there is a sick liberal Democrat twist in the fine print of the govt program. Those seeking payment assistance will rue the day
Then you are suggesting revolution by the few.....
Taxing on miles driven will hurt the economy even more because people will not spend as much on good and services and drive less. Tourism will suffer, especially where it is the main industry of the area. Goods and services will go up in price.
Lets go get some BBQ...
obama has set the future in motion. No capitalist increase in value.
If anything obama is explicit in DESTROYING future appreciation.
Jimmy Carter incompetence on steroids.
The MSM today is desperatly trying to inflate obama. PAY NO MIND TO THAT REALITY BEHIND THE CURTAIN I AM THE GREAT AND MIGHT OBAMA!!!!!!
Howard Dean had his posterior handed to him this am on CNBC as he was doing damage control from santelli.
After the debacle of the last 30 days, two years seems a loooooong time to wait for a chance at change, doesn’t it?
If ACORN helps keep the ‘rats in office in 2010, I’m going to have to buy a Ghillie Suit.
when this thing started, there is a video of someone asking clinton about why he and cumo upped the percentage of subprime loans that fannie must hold - he said the republicans should have ‘resisted him better’ - which i took as an admission from him of guilt
he has changed his answer now to ‘wall street greed’
My car is going to run like shit after I pull out all those gov’t mandated tracking devices and odometer cable.
Hi CC...good to see you ...hard to believe Ray LaHood is going along with that...
On the subject of the Fairness Doctrine, we all should be supporting Jim Demint’s legislation to forbid the introduction of the “Fairness Doctrine” or “localism” to stifle talk radio.
Feb. 20 (Bloomberg) — Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd said it may be necessary to nationalize some banks for a short time as Citigroup Inc. and Bank of America Corp. tumbled today on concern the U.S. may take over both banks.
I dont welcome that at all, but I could see how its possible it may happen, Dodd said in an interview on Bloomberg Televisions Political Capital with Al Hunt to be broadcast later today. Im concerned that we may end up having to do that, at least for a short time.
New York-based Citigroup and Charlotte, North Carolina-based Bank of America, which have received $90 billion in U.S. aid in the past four months, fell as much as 19 percent today.
Dodd, who wrote a provision to limit executive pay for executives at companies receiving government aid, said the Treasury Department has an awful lot of leeway to administer the restrictions. It was included in the $787 billion stimulus legislation President Barack Obama signed into law this week.
OMG. Where have you been?
Look who’s here.
Is there a link to a video with dean?
I had to move from JAX to near MGM ...and had some cardiac events and a new pacemaker...My new job here in AL gives me less time to post....
Great you are ok.
Remember, TA - about 40% of Americans don’t give a rip - not even enough to vote. More than half of those who did vote, cast theirs for their new savior. Of the remainining few, only some are armed. That’s what we’d be up against.
George Mason University students have elected a drag queen as homecoming queen.
Student Ryan Allen beat out two women for the title at the small school in suburban Washington, D.C., famous for its run to the Final Four a few years back.
Allen competed under his drag queen persona of Reann Ballslee.
Allen, who is gay and performs in drag at nightclubs, said he entered as a joke. But he considers the victory one of his happiest moments and proof the school celebrates its diverse student body.....
I am really P.O.d...I had to move (job related) from Jacksonville, FL to Montgomery, AL. We thought it would take two months to sell my house there. It still hasn’t sold...So I’m paying two mortgages ON TIME. But no one will give me a “bailout” even though I am quite “distressed”. I haven’t asked and don’t want government money. I just want the economy to pick up and tax CUTS are the quickest way to get there.
How is life in AL?
I smell a ‘Best BBQ’ thread ahead.
Thanks...it’s been a rough hill to climb, but we’re getting there...
There must be some butt-ugly women at George Mason University.
I like how they had to point out the drag queen was gay....Duh!
I thought that was what the 'stimulus' package 'shovel ready' jobs was suppose to do!!!
