I wish I could believe that. Imagine how deluded, fearful, and dependent most Americans will be in 2011. Imagine too that he’s extended his reach via ACORN, amnesty, convicts voting, 50% unionization, healthcare delivery, control of his the message of his opponents, etc. Image (as it is now) that he owns all three branches of government, the media, higher education, unions, lower education, the banks, Hollywood, and so on. Now imagine 10% of the electorate from 2008 not voting at all. No - I can see him easily re-elected.

Feb. 20 (Bloomberg) — Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd said it may be necessary to nationalize some banks for a short time as Citigroup Inc. and Bank of America Corp. tumbled today on concern the U.S. may take over both banks.
“I don’t welcome that at all, but I could see how it’s possible it may happen,” Dodd said in an interview on Bloomberg Television’s “Political Capital with Al Hunt” to be broadcast later today. “I’m concerned that we may end up having to do that, at least for a short time.”
New York-based Citigroup and Charlotte, North Carolina-based Bank of America, which have received $90 billion in U.S. aid in the past four months, fell as much as 19 percent today.
Dodd, who wrote a provision to limit executive pay for executives at companies receiving government aid, said the Treasury Department has “an awful lot of leeway” to administer the restrictions. It was included in the $787 billion stimulus legislation President Barack Obama signed into law this week.

George Mason University students have elected a drag queen as homecoming queen.
Student Ryan Allen beat out two women for the title at the small school in suburban Washington, D.C., famous for its run to the Final Four a few years back.
Allen competed under his drag queen persona of Reann Ballslee.
Allen, who is gay and performs in drag at nightclubs, said he entered as a joke. But he considers the victory one of his happiest moments and proof the school celebrates its diverse student body.....

I am really P.O.d...I had to move (job related) from Jacksonville, FL to Montgomery, AL. We thought it would take two months to sell my house there. It still hasn’t sold...So I’m paying two mortgages ON TIME. But no one will give me a “bailout” even though I am quite “distressed”. I haven’t asked and don’t want government money. I just want the economy to pick up and tax CUTS are the quickest way to get there.
