Vanity - sitting on the tarmac on a USAirways flight from Houston. Pilot announced a "system-wide hard shut down." Anyone know what's up?

Is that a shutdown of systems on the aircraft or a shutdown of flight operations exterior to your aircraft?

Just checked the FAA website, says 15 minutes or less delay. Longer delay (16 to 30 minutes delay) at SFO.
Otherwise, green lights across the board.
