I like Sarah, but I think we could get Dick Cheney elected in four years (if Obozo fails).

What do you like better Cheney/Palin or Palin/Cheney? I kinda like Cheney/Palin. I just had a thought: how about Palin/Petraeus?

>>I’m not at all impressed with “it can’t happen”.

I’m WAY more concerned with the fact and implications that there are those in power that WANT it to happen.<<

Exactly!

Yep-—one thing that even the Rat politicians in Pennsylvania understand is that if they try to impose gun and ammunition control in the Commonwealth then their political careers will effectively be over come election time. These silly bills are DOA.

The Violent Crime Control Act of 1991 provides additional powers to the President of the United States, allowing the suspension of the Constitution and Constitutional rights of Americans during a “drug crisis”. It provides for the construction of detention camps, seizure of property, and military control of populated areas. This, teamed with the Executive Orders of the President, enables Orwellian prophecies to rest on whoever occupies the White House. The power provided by these “laws” allows suspension of the Constitution and the rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights during any civil disturbances, major demonstrations and strikes and allows the military to implement government ordered movements of civilian populations at state and regional levels, the arrest of certain unidentified segments of the population, and the imposition of Martial Law.

That’s SHTF time

Do it illigally, so what, they are so many laws, you break one everyday, anyway (and it’s second Amendment), I wouldn’t expect you to follow a DANGEROUS or IMMORAL law #1) Dangerous because you use less ammo to protect yourself, #2 Immoral because they require you to turn in “non-registered” ammo after a certain period of time: that’s called stealing, theft!

(I wonder how these geniuses expect to get the real criminals to obey the law)

What? Didn’t you hear? After 1/20/09 there will be no more criminals. There will be no need for them to feel bad about themselves. The only criminals will be Christians who will be punished

On in other words - bypass gun registration and go straight to bullet registration.

(I agree with you. And the logistical nightmare of tracking trillions of bullets in a data base is absurd.
Who is going to pay for all this accounting?)

Well the tax payer of course!!! What a wonderful way to create wonderful government jobs with big pensions and unions.

5 cents a bullet would be the opening bid. It would go up in leaps, you can depend on it.

Thanks for the link. Chilling read ...

Perhaps it can be summed up succinctly in the words of arch-conservative activist Howard J. Ruff. "Since the enactment of Executive Order 11490, the only thing standing between us and dictatorship is the good character of the President, and the lack of a crisis severe enough that the public would stand still for it." JOe biden has already warned that Obama's rule is coming, and Rhambo Emanuel has admitted that no crisis should go unexploited. The fecal material is about to hit the rotary blades and a majority of dumbed down usurped americans will welcome it as the benevolent work of their almost black messiah. God have mercy upon US.

Nothing to differ about here. I know what their end game is as well as you do. This just seems like a fine opportunity to expose them as the liars that they are with regards to not intending to attack sportsmen. Criminals don’t reload, sportsmen do; therefore, they’re clearly full of shiite when they say they aren’t “going after” sportsmen. that’s my point. This is the kind of legislation that sparks grass roots brushfires that turn into political party consuming forest fires. more later

“It (the bill) would eliminate reloading because there would be no way to serial it (the ammunition),”

Just a suggestion -- reloaders could simply start putting a name on every round of ammo reloaded ...

They was all inscribed with “In God We Trust”

I want to know whom in the Tennessee legislature is signed onto this effort, whom originated an response to the bill, and whom to hunt down if they pass this. They will not be representing any part of Tennessee int he next election cycle.

We see how efficient our 9% approval government is, and they're going to keep a tracking database on hundreds of millions of rounds of coded ammunition without screwing it all up? LOL! And how much is this gonna cost?

Let's see....I'm out at the gravel pit, plinking with my 9mm. I can't find all my brass, but someone else finds it later, commits a gun crime, and tosses my lost brass on the ground at the scene. I'm busted instead of him.

I swear, our legislators couldn't grow more stupid by the day if they spent all their waking hours working at it. Wait, they are working at it, and they're proving it every day.
