Supreme Court dismisses 2nd Obama citizenship challenge

Posted on 12/15/2008 3:17:55 PM PST by jetxnet

It seems Obama will become President no matter what .. the people have no say anymore.

Now, we have a guy who is likely an illegal alien with access to the highest levels of the government, security clearances etc.

It's ironic how Russia is sending warships to Cuba today. They threatened to send Nuclear bombers to Cuba during Obama's "New World Order" speech in Germany.

All we wanted was the dam birth certificate .. hell, we have to provide that for things much less important.

So, can I put up a copy of vehicle Titles and birth certificates online now? So if I need it, I can just give them my "fight the smears" URL and call it good?

If it isn't required for POTUS, then why should it be for anything we do as citizens?

As much as I object to Obama on political grounds I have to admit that I am much more concerned about establishing the precedent of the SCOTUS being able to set aside an election than I am about a natural born citizen technicality.

You asked — “I wonder if we’ll ever be rid of him?”

Nope, all we can do now is to make sure that this kind of mess doesn’t happen again. We will have to pass some laws in various states in order to get the Secretaries of State to vet the candidates to make sure they have met the Constitutional requirement.

This is what we’ll need to be working on with our own state legislators...

You said — “Now, many are finding out (or have) about this and other issues and sorry they voted for him because of mis and non information.”

Well.., with just about anything there is always “buyers remorse...”

People were even sorry they voted for Bush, too...

No doubt, but SCOTUS, Obama and both parties must be up to something. Political “power brokers” collunding on both sides seem to be influencing all the major decisions.

Now it seems clear as to why the illegals weren’t kicked out after all.

I’m not a fan of merging with Canada and Mexico, call me a proud old-school American, but that just doesn’t seem right.

Unfortunate, but true. I do have two consolations:

1. The next four years are looking to be fairly rough, both for the economy and internationally.
2. John McCain is not President.

Obama has his own secretary of state plants in key states that previously worked for ACORN.

It won’t do any good to talk with legislators and pass laws in getting these secretaries of state to vet the candidates.

They are in the same tank, otherwise they would’ve done in the first place.

Well isn’t that special, a candidate proving eligibility for office is a “technicality”, a voter proving their eligibility to vote also appears to be a “technicality”. The election process is being hijacked, what do you see as a remedy.

True, and funny how Obama and Congress are coming up with these billions into the trillions for bailouts by the time it’s all said and done.

Hmmm ... corruption .. corruption.

If it’s not your money, it’s very easy to spend it.

Exactly, like say .. foreign Oil money and such.

It’s interesting how Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac both have significant investments into the “Islamic Banking Coooperative” and their “microfinancing” program to give loans to people with low income and/or poor credit.

It’s also intersting how the Bank of Indonesia, where Obama’s mama was a research coordinator and a project lead for the microfinancing program at this bank.

The Bank of Indonesia is the largest microfinance lenders in Malaysia.

The Ford Foundation, again, which Obama’s mama worked for (and still may according to searches) sponsored the Bank of Indonsia’s microfinance program with millions of US taxpayer$.

Hmmm . corruption .. corruption.

Mr. Soetoro: Since the hallmark of your campaign has been to be 'open and transparent', why is there an opaque shroud - an actual vault - around your original 1961 birth documents?

This must be asked on the heels of Blago's arrest and national exposure of the open cesspool known as Illinois politics. (We knew it all along, the nation is just catching up.)

"The election process is being hijacked, what do you see as a remedy."

There is a significant difference between a Legal find and and what is obvious. The principle of "Executive Disregard" has long standing. There have been actions or inactions by nearly every president in American history that could be viewed my some or many as being unconstitutional. I'm not sure what powers the constitution grants to the like of you and me except to bitch and whine about it until we motivate enough of our fellow citizens to act.

Yeah, sure. At least with past elections, the Candidates showed their birth certifcates. The Candidates this election as well, albeit one Candidate, can you guess who??

If you guessed the Virgin in the Chicago Whorehouse then you get the grand prize.

It wasn’t that the information was not there. It was.

The problem was and still is is that 99% of the people do not give a damn. This began during the clinton regime. It was perfectly for a President to lie, commit perjury, and sell the Nation’s defensive techonology to the higest bidder so long as a female intern was giving him a blowjob. They don’t know nor do they want to know what the qualifications that the Constitution states are necessary to be a candidate.

Not only does the electorate not know the Constitution, the judiciary does not know it and again, neither are interested in learning it.

According to the judiciary, the Constitution reads that everyone is entitled to a free abortion. The politician says that the Constitution gives everyone free health care[ whatever that entails]

As far as the voting public goes, so far as no one interfers with American Idol and America’s Got Talent, they don’t care if the man comes and put shackles and handcuffs on them and marches them to the slave camp tomorrow.

These are what got us to where we are today.

I don’t see the eligibility requirement ever meaning anything anymore as the precedent is set. Perhaps the rest of the Constitution will soon nosedive like our once proud dollar.
Bad mood rant - don’t take personal.

They refused to stop the Electoral College from voting today... that is all that they did and this was covered in another thread this morning.

So if the mooselimbs take out d.c. should I be upset?

The only loss would be the historic artifacts, artwork, and statues.
