Prissy Crissy is the most annoying of all the political talk show hosts. He constantly interrupts and even completes sentences for his guests.
General Patreus has been working with Terrorist Nation to get Iraq out of darkness. He is a good man.
W. forked over MILLIONS to Al Sadr to get him to chill. He is a good man (who has made horrible decisions).
The current military leadership in Afghanistan, both American and British is saying to the world, IT WILL BE OK IF WE SIT DOWN ON A NEGOTIATING TABLE AND TALIBAN ARE SITTING ON THE OTHER SIDE.

I don’t know. If he runs, he won’t have his show to trumpet himself. At that point the voters may see him as just another has-been, no different than if Steve Guttenberg suddenly decided to run for office.
Well, if we reduce our options down to the heartland, I'm not sure we'll be much of a threat with only 6 senators from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas.
Matthews will lose. After all, Specter is the kind of moderate/liberal Republican we have to run in order to reach out to moderate swing voters and keep from being tarnished as right-wing hatemongers, right? The only way to win elections is to run as Democrats, right? I mean, didn’t President-Elect John McCain prove that?
I would love just like to see the professional campaign commercials. Chrissy’s spent so much time on camera whining and saying stupid things they could probably make a thoroughly amusing montage, half hour special if they wanted :). As far as who wins goes, it might open the door for a dark horse that is sorely needed, the result between the two wouldn’t matter much anyway though IMO.
An opportunity to be a smarmy Democrat for just a day should never go unappreciated. Imagine how those pukes feel who do that sort of thing every day.

In our new environment, all he has to do is say he loves Obama and supports all his plans. That will get the Dem machine providing the funds - and the idiot electorate to vote for him.

No, because, assuming this former pitcher is any good, the Pirates will probably still have some kind of rights to his contract and will trade him to the Democrats for 4 worthless RINO prospects and a can of crap in the name of “financial flexibility.”
Hell, the last Pirates relief pitcher we had that was lights out was Kent Tekulve :-)! There were a few in the early 90s....that’s about it. I don’t want to mention a couple we have now in fear that the Pirates trade them to other teams for bricks and bobbleheads.
I'm one of the guys who cheered Joe Lieberman's defeat of Lowell Weicker in 1988. Yeah Lowell was, and is, an (expletive delted). But... If he was still in the Senate, voting for McConnell for Majority Leader, we would have had a divided, not a Democrat, Senate, the past two years.
Arlen too is an (expletive deleted). But if the only vote he casts the way I want him to in the 2011-2012 Congress is to elect McConnell Majority Leader, he is head, shoulders and nipples above Chrissy.
