What has happened to America?
Now it’s their turn....they will have NO one to blame for the way things will become except their selves. It’s going to be painful...but fun to watch.
That’s OK. See post #46. I was under the illusion that most voters in this country would see beyond the fraud and arrogance of BHO. I was horribly wrong.
People have come to enjoy the handouts. McCain is against pork and subsidies and the people just love the free stuff. Pathetic.
I felt like this when clinton was elected twice and swore then I was through with stupid politics and stupid Americans that would shamefully vote for immoral bums. I was getting a little encouraged with Sarah but now I’m back
to screw it.
Yep, I remember a raid on some terrorists in Columbia. It’s a hotbed of all things vile. Nearly all my friends and family voted for McCain. We did all we could I suppose.

There’s a lot of wisdom there. The biggest loser tonight is “bipartisanship”. The most bipartisan Pubbie takes it in the shorts against a hardcore leftie. Let that be a lesson to us all. When we try to out-rat the rats is when we get it handed to us.

Actually I am convinced that the internal infighting between Evangelicals and Reagan Republicans was our own Achilles heel. As a Reagan Republican (yet conservative), I think Sarah scared a lot of us from voting or worse yet, crossing over. There are more traditional conservatives than Evangelical conservatives and if you continue to bring in religion to the argument (intelligent design, etc) then the center will always shift left. Separation of church and state my friends. When will we ever learn.

I have to agree here. As much as I wanted McCain to win, (because I did not want Obama to win), I believe a McCain presidency would have likely killed the Republican Party forever. I believe McCain is a good man at heart, but his vision is clouded by too many years in Washington. His liberalism, I think, would have doomed conservatism.
That being said, I would also like to say that I fully support Mrs. Sarah Palin, and I thank her for running this year,and for giving me hope.

the popular vote margin is about what I expected (O +6), but his ad buys and ground games were used very efficiently.
3 very close wins: NC, IN, MO are all due to the overwhelming advantage on the ground.
But now imagine that somehow McCain runs 6 pts better across the board, and ties in popular vote. Guess what - he still loses CO (by 2), IA (by 3) and NM (by a ton), and with it the election.
Here is the problem for the GOP candidates - the West is slipping away. CA, OR, WA are no longer competitive; and if CO, NM, NV are off the board as well, then we are in a big trouble for a long time.
It helps when you have a bunch of fictional people registered by ACORN casting ballots...
Hello! Israel was the loser. They just got attacked. Sheesh! The Muslims are now free to do what ever they want.
Well, no one will talk about it now, but there STILL was massive vote fraud. I am sure St. Louis, South Florida, Gary Indiana and Cleveland did a lot of stuffing to push Obama over the top.
I have always had more respect for the GOP because they don't wallow in the filth like the Democrats. It looks like we may have to. Actually, I'm starting to warm to the idea.
The panhandle — strong for McCain.
I am proud to be from Oklahoma where for the first time in State History, Republicans now control the State Senate and kept the House and took back a Corporation Commission seat. We also went 66 - 33 for McCain.
My recommendation is to start right now demanding that in Republican primaries Iowa and NH are not our first primaries. Why not let the states that went Conservative once again be the States to host the first primaries. I have the perfect states in the middle of the Country from ND to Texas and the states in between who went RED! No blue states should be hosting any front loaded primary like NH, Iowa, MI — it is ludicrous to have a blue state help pick our candidates.
